This tour was absolutely worth it! I always look for something a bit different to do than the usual tourist stuff, and having my own professional photographer guide me around beautiful Kanazawa ticked all the boxes! It was a great way to see almost everything in one go, and having an English speaking guide really helped me appreciate the sights more. But the best bit was the photos. TK is incredibly professional and took stunning shots (I'm not usually photogenic at all!), but also helped me learn a bit more about taking my own photos for the future. Japan is a bit expensive in general, but I found this to be pretty good value for money considering all the inclusions. Thank you so much for showing me your city. I really loved our time together. And the photos made the perfect gifts when I returned!

My 2 friends and I went on the beginners Spring Tour 2019 for our first trip to Japan. We loved it and can't wait to go back! Becky and Shawn are awesome. They were so down to earth, helpful and very knowledgeable. I also really liked that the tour group is small. It allows you to get to know your fellow group members and ensures personal attention from your guides. We saw so many large tour groups at tour sites and they looked a little chaotic, it made me happy we chose a small group. The accommodations were always clean and comfortable and located perfectly. Food was amazing!!! If you are willing to try new things you can have an amazing gourmet experience. The events and locations that Becky and Shawn chose were top notch and we got to experience all different modes of transportation while there.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

This is a one-day, 7-hour tour around Hokuriku's first castle town, "Kanazawa," with a local guide. Kanazawa is said to be the origin of the city that Kanazawa Mido used as a base of missionary work in Honjyo in the middle of the 16th century. Later in the 16th century, Maeda Toshiya established Kanazawa castle in this area, and since then it developed as the castle town of Kaga Hyakumaishi, prospering from the 17th century during the Edo era to the end of the 19th century. After Edo (Tokyo) and Osaka, alongside the big cities of the scale after Kyoto, it is said that there was this. The samurai city formed around the castle as a vibrant merchant city, and a temple town which was arranged to protect the castle. The atmosphere of the castle town still remains as a place where Japanese culture is beautifully on display.
