With our selection of local food treats you can check off a lot of things on your Icelandic food bucket list, and you sure won’t be disappointed with the quality of the restaurants we handpicked as our partners. The Reykjavik food walk is also good to get oriented in the old Reykjavik city center. All our guides are graduates from the Icelandic Tourist guide school but more importantly, they know how to entertain as well as to educate. The only bad thing on this tour is the fermented shark, but hey, its an adventure and what does not kill you makes you stronger and cooler back home ;). One of the best things about doing a food tour is getting a sense of the history of the country while eating something delicious & exciting. You will also get tips on Food, Fun & Drink for the rest of our stay in Reykjavik so perfect as one of the first stops while in Reykjavik.
Inclusions: Be hungry as you will have plenty to eat, We will have an Icelandic drink of choice at the end of our tour
Exclusions:
Very enjoyable afternoon. Learned about Reykjavik and heard entertaining stories. Guide answered our questions and gave great recommendations.

In these uncertain times… When tourism became just a business. When all offered tours are overpriced and you became just a number in a crowded bus, when you want to feel special.. Who you gonna call..? G spot Iceland !!! We will take you on a travel through Reykjanes peninsula to understand how land of Ice and Fire was created. Unique landscapes, numerous types of volcanoes, open fissures and faults, geothermal areas and lava fields. You'll see inside out how whole process of land creation was happening. Unforgettable landscape, amazing forms, interesting history and subtle smell of mother nature. Amazing caves, steaming craters, hot pot bathing and nearly no tourists around us. Also on our lunch break we will cook for you some eggs on a energy harvested from hot springs. You have a option to choose from 3 different paths on this tour including one with a visit to recent 2021 eruption site ! And remember - as our guests say at the end of the route.. this is not a normal tour :)

This is a full personal and custom experience for you and your party with local guides: about 75 minutes walking each way and 90 minutes at the volcanic eruption site. With our private tour, you control the pace of the hike and stop when you want to catch a breath; no rush! The eruption site is 20 miles from Keflavik International Airport and is the biggest attraction in the country. Volcanic activity is changing every day, enlarging the site on such a significant daily basis, making the experience different day-by-day. We recommend layering up with rain gear and cold-weather clothing. Icelandic weather changes rapidly. All our guides are fully accredited with the permits and licenses to lead. Our private tours comply with the safety guidelines providing: Portable gas detector (O2, H2S, CO, EX) Gas mask available if the level exceeds the recommended limits. Walking poles available on request Headlights for the night tours
Inclusions: Trekking Poles (On request), Crampons (if necessary), Light snacks, Bottle of Icelandic Glacier Water, Mobile WIFI (on request)

We just came back from a five day tour of Iceland. We had a family of 10 people, including several small kids, obviously not an easy undertaking. But Carlos tackled this with aplomb. We arranged for a fairly easy itinerary, which still included some 10 hour days, but it was ideal with children. We had a large van replete with wi-fi and nice seats -- it was very comfortable. We used Carlos to not only help us plan the trip, but pick the most interesting sites given the time we had. It took a lot off of our plate not having to worry about planning every detail. We just trusted in them -- and boy were we glad we did. I don't need to bore you with the places we saw, but how we saw them. Our Guide was Gudni and he made the trip for us. A guide can be make or break but Gudni was like having a friend along for thew ride who also happened to know everything about Iceland and Denmark. He was an amazing guide and what we loved best about him was that he knew when to talk -- and when to be quiet. He gets a feel for you and plans the journey around you and your attitudes. Yet, he loves when you lob questions his way. You'll probably find Gudni knows more about you and where you come from than yourself -- he's quite travelled and astute. If there's any doubt in your mind, this is the company to go with. They can find you a great Thai restaurant, have a discourse over famous Icelandic murders, of which there are quite few, and take a family member to a health clinic. All in one day.

The waterfalls and glaciers of the South Coast are one of Iceland's top attractions. This journey will take you through the lowlands of the southern coast, where landscapes take all possible forms: from farmland to pristine glaciers, impressive cliffs on the ocean and rampant waterfalls. We are confident that as you travel along the South Coast, you will be inspired by Iceland's rugged beauty and love its ancient and beautiful history. Indeed, behind each of these delightful places are no less fascinating sagas and legends.

We visited Iceland as a stop on a cruise and I had booked this tour for our party of 6. We were picked up at the cruise terminal gate by our driver/guide for the day, Denis. The transport was a Volkswagen multivan and was just right for us. I am no longer nimble but Denis gave me a hand when needed. We had a wonderful day enjoying a little of this beautiful country. Denis was very informative and passionate about his home. We had a number of stops and great photo opportunities. We also stopped at a tomato greenhouse restaurant and had a delicious lunch. We added The Secret Lagoon to our tour as an extra. The time passed too quickly but the day has given us fantastic memories. Sergei, who runs the company answered my questions pre-visit promptly and the booking process was simple.

We highly recommend Luca's Raven tours. Luca is an excellent guide. His knowledge and manner make him the perfect guide. We wanted a family tour (me and 2 teenagers) so we could go at our own pace, get lots of local knowledge and not worry about driving conditions. We got that and more on the 2 separate day tours we booked with him. If we'd had more time we would have done another one. Thanks so much, Luca.

The Golden Circle tour is the most popular tour in Iceland, that takes you through some of Iceland’s most famous natural attractions. On the one-full day, we will see the Thingvellir National Park, known for its historical and geological value. Then, we visit the second largest waterfall in Iceland, Gullfoss, and the geothermally active Haukadalur valley also called the Valley of Geysers. Other attractions on the way will be Kerid Crater, Nesjavellir geothermal area, and the Fridheimar greenhouse. We suggest taking lunch at Fridheimar greenhouse to enjoy dishes made with local tomatoes growing next to the tables.

Our family of five - kids 10, 8 and 3 - enjoyed two wonderful tours with Sergei: Golden Circle and South Coast. Sergei was everything you would want in a host and guide - kind, very knowledgeable, patient and enjoyable. Our three year old daughter said he was her new best friend! :-) The sights on both tours were absolutely amazing as well, of course. We were very glad we could do both, and it would be hard to pick one over the other. That said...if you have to do just one, we would do the South Coast. So dramatic and beautiful. It does not include a geyser, like Golden Circle, but otherwise hits all of the high notes - waterfalls, geological sights and Icelandic history. South Coast does have a longer drive back to Reykjavík, but our kids enjoyed a chance to nap and we had time to chat with Sergei. If you are thinking about a private tour for Golden Circle or South Coast, use Top Iceland!!

Our best seller Ice Cave Tour! A short tour that allows you to experience the stunning blue caves of Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier in Europe. On this tour we venture to one of the more accessible ice caves for an encounter with ancient blue ice. The conditions of the ice caves are constantly changing. During the warmer summer months the ice caves are being formed by melted glacier water. In autumn each year we start looking for ice caves. Being a local company, we began searching for ice caves in 90’s and our speciality is finding the very best ice cave available. The Ice Cave Tour is our easy option, as our trusted super jeeps take us very close to the ice cave, meaning minimal walking. This trip suits most people and is perfect if you have a packed schedule or if you are worried about arctic winter weather. The super jeep journey to reach the cave is an adventure on its own. Once we reach our destination you will have time to experience a beautiful blue Ice Cave!
Inclusions: Local and Professional Glacier Guide, 4x4 Super-Jeep Transfer, Spikes and Helmet, Supporting a Small Local Company, Carbon Neutralised Tour, Visit to the Blue Diamond Ice Cave
Exclusions: Food and drinks, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Gratuities
Glacier Discovery can’t recommend it enough!! What an amazing glacier hike we had. It started by getting picked up by our guide Snorri in Freysnes on this massive 4x4 super jeep. From there he drove us a short trip up to the glacier where we switched to crampons and hiking boots. We were quite lucky with the weather, and since the world is going through this covid times, we were the only group up on the glacier. That made for a peaceful but yet an experience full of action and adventure. Considering myself maybe a bit above average when it comes to hiking I can say that I felt comfortable the whole time on the glacier, specially after our guide showed us some tricks on how to fully utilize the crampons on the ice. Snorri our guide was a champ! Full of knowledge and funny. Definitely recommend and If I get the opportunity I will take another trip with them. Regards Siggi

This northern lights tour in Iceland takes you in an original superjeep out of town to avoid light pollution so as to observe this fascinating natural phenomenon also known as the Aurora Borealis. Given clear skies and a little bit of luck, sightings can occur from autumn to spring. The main 4X4 superjeeps are Land Rover Defenders and 6-door Ford Excursions. All are modified with big 40- or 46-inch wheels ready for the mighty challenge the tours offer every day, all year round! The jeeps are equipped with an extra fold-down step for easy accessibility, luxurious leather seats, air-conditioning, WiFi, GPS, first-aid kit, trackwell, and other sorts of security equipment. Behind the wheel on the tours are experienced driving guides that sure know how to maneuver such big jeeps in the wilderness and highways of Iceland. This 4-hour tour has a max of 6 passengers per superjeep.
