We did a 12 day customized trip in 2018. Found this company through Zicasso, Kieran was great arranging it all and communication was easy. Our trip started in Buenos Aires where we did a cooking class at the Argentine Experience and took a tango lesson. Our dance instructors took us out to a milongo afterwards and we ended up staying out until 2am. It was great! We felt completely immersed in the culture. We then flew to Iguazu and toured the jungle, got blasted by the falls in a boat ride and saw all the incredible creatures that live there. Our last 5 days were spent hiking in Patagonia where we trekked the Perito Moreno Glacier, visited a ranch, and then drove to El Chalten for the final days. All of our transportation was provided, all internal flights booked by Kieran, and everything was just wonderful. To this day, it’s one of my favorite vacations!

The Iguazu Falls are one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world and are visited by over one million tourists every year. There are 275 jumps, where they flow around 1,500 cubic meters of water per second. Regardless of the weather of the time, this wonder of nature awakens various sensations in those who contemplate it. The tour starts at the Visitor Reception Center at Iguazu National Park, in Foz do Iguaçu. Next, the tourists board a modern, double-deck, 72-seat passenger panoramic bus that travels into the park, where the passenger contemplates the fauna and flora to the Falls.

DO NOT book this tour with Loumar Turismo agency: 1. The bus took us to Itaipu 1 hour before the tour starts. Why? Who knows. There is a little coffee shop with a view of the parking lot and a souvenir shop that you can spend maybe 5 minutes. So we wasted 1 hour sitting around before the tour. 2. The bus cost R$ 49 for each direction. Uber costs R$ 14... 3. After the tour, we had to wait again for more than 1 hour in the coffee shop (in the extreme heat) for the bus to take us back. Why? It doesn't make sense why we have to sit around looking at parking lot for 2 hours when the tour only lasts 1 hour. It's a complete waste and disrespect of our time. We got so bored and so hot that we ordered an Uber to take us back to town for much less money than the agency bus. --- I recommend: - Take an Uber directly to Itaipu - Buy the entry ticket directly at Itaipu - Enjoy the tour for 1 hour - Order an Uber back when you're finished...

The both sides iguassu falls tour is a must. The falls where absolutely incredible and each side gives a different experience. Big shout out to Silvana who was an amazing guide. Our pick up was on time and we headed first to the Argentinian side of the falls. On the Argentinian side there is lots of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. You view the falls from above looking downwards. At this location there is lots of wildlife to see. Silvana was very informative and gave us lots of information about the falls during stops. After this we headed to the Brazilian side of the falls. From this side you see the falls from below. On this part of the tour you can opt to walk around the viewpoints or for an extra cost take a boat tour into the falls (dry or wet) and rappelling. We decided to take the wet boat tour which I would highly recommend. You get to see the falls from a totally different perspective and after all the walking from the Argentinian side it was fun to have a different experience. Also if you do opt to take the wet tour, bare in mind you go right under a waterfall and you get completely head to toe drenched and your belongings so take precautions ! Just some tips if you decide to take this tour - it’s a good idea to take some snacks, the day is very long with lots of walking, and as you’re doing both sides in one day there is not much time to stop to eat - totally worth the hunger but maybe take snacks. Wear comfy shoes as I said, there is lots of walking. Take plenty of money as the tour doesn’t include the entrance fees to the Argentinian side, Brazilian side and take money for food, boat tours or souvenirs. Finally I want to say a big thank you to Silvana, who was attentive, professional, kind and informative. She really kept the day smooth and was such a nice, friendly person. So thank you very much for giving us an amazing day. Totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iguaçu.

The opportunity to see the glaciers up close and to trek on them was definitely a bucket list activity! From the moment you strap on those crampons, you know you are in for a once in a lifetime experience. The guides were great and you even finished the trek with a glass of whisky on glacier ice. This was not a strenuous trek so I think anyone could take it on - we even saw a man who seemed to have cerebal palsy and he had two guides assist him and was able to complete the trek.

This National Park is AMAZING. The Iguazu National Park is the #1 atraction in Argentina. This is a must visit site, We started the day with the speed boat tour and of course expect to get wet as you see the diferent sides of the waterfalls from the Argentina side. Our first trail was to the Devils throat or Garganta del Diablo this view is by far the most awesome of all. Our second trail was the lower circuit were you will see 6 smaller but just as beautiful waterfalls. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to walk. This is nature at it's best
