I almost never write reviews, but I am happy to recommend Mr. Biker. I've had the opportunity to do two day tours with Thai (Mr. Biker) and his crew, and will certainly do another in the future. Thai is a super-nice guy, and his tours are top-notch. He loves cycling, and employs English-speaking guides who also love cycling. His shop also sells and repairs bikes. When my bike broke down at the beginning of a long tour, he fixed me up and got me back on the road quickly.

Pick up from Ho Chi Minh Hotel down good roads to Cat Tien. Our Tour Guide was Jordan who used the outward bound journey to provide us with a lesson on the history and culture of Vietnam. This was backed up with some good visual aids. Accommodation was at the Forest Floor Lodge which was across the river in basic but exotic individual huts over the banks of the river. Food was practical and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good cheap cold bear available after jungle walks was much appreciated. Local guide Guur (phonetic) took us on two forest walks and provided invaluable insights. Good at spotting fauna and very knowledgeable of the flora. Translation was provided by Jordan, as required. Bird life on the river seemed to be limited. There wasn't much activity at crocodile lake, although the walk plus drive there was rewarding. The lake was choked by grasses so no paddling on the lake was possible. The time allotted to the lake plus walk was probably not long enough as there was so much to see in the forest on the way to the lake. Jordan was very attentive to our needs throughout, the mosquitoes were a minor issue and the leeches provided some humorous moments. The driver provided for the the trip to and from HCM was excellent, providing a high standard of driving where the general standard was low.

We were on a 16 day trip through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand organized by Realistic Asia and absolutely loved it! They organized all of the flights to Vietnam and then home from Thailand, as well as the internal flights. They also booked the hotels and the tours, although we did organize some additional tours ahead of time on our own for the leisure days. Each of the tours tended to be run by people local to the city being visited and each of the tour guides was very professional and very enjoyable. The itinerary was such that we started in Vietnam, beginning in Hanoi and then Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh city, then to Siem Reap, Cambodia and finally ending in Phuket, Thailand. Each of the places was different and had things to admire and explore. Phuket was the beach place, although we found Hoi An had a great beach as well. We were very impressed and very happy with each and every hotel we were booked into. They were all very clean, nice and safe and had great staff. Would happily go back to stay at every one of them again. The travel agent who worked with us, David Huynh (Dat) was amazing! He was super responsive both before the trip when we had questions and during the trip when we were unsure about anything. We were on the leading edge of the Coronavirus pandemic and he actually noticed that our original flight to Vietnam was going through Seoul and we would have been forced to quarantine upon landing in Vietnam so he went ahead and changed our flights just days before we were to leave. We then got a notice that our flight home had been cancelled and that we needed to catch a flight home a day later. He went ahead and extended our hotel stay another night. We didn't even have to pay. We did not know what to expect when we booked the tour but after having gone we would enthusiastically recommend Realistic Asia and we would definitely go on another trip with them.

This was a fantastic tour! Ram introduced us to some amazingly tasty vegan dishes which we would never have found ourselves. The food stops took us through a variety of interesting neighbourhoods in the heart of the city giving us a much greater insight into the real Saigon than any standard tourist tour. Ram is a mine of information about Vietnamese history and culture and we really enjoyed finding out more about daily life in Saigon. Very good value and highly recommended!

As a couple we were very interested in a morning out exploring the floating market and more. Upon reading the reviews posted about Bin, his experience and care we knew right away he was the guide we wanted to lead us. Straight away upon meeting him, we were not disappointed. Bin has a natural way about him; a caring person who genuinely wants to give his clients the best experience. We had a lovely time learning all about the local area. Bin’s care and attention to detail made our day memorable indeed.

Our guide (Bo?) was very nice and friendly. We went to a lacquer art factory and gallery that employs people affected by agent orange and the many details and painstaking steps it takes to make the beautiful pieces. If you want to buy a small picture or piece, make sure to bring between 500k or 1mil dong. We were told 60% goes to the the workers. The tunnels and bunkers were super interesting and we had the opportunity to go in them and really experience and start to understand what it must have been like for the people who used them. There were lots of displays and demonstrations on how clothing, shoes, food and such was prepared as well. Lunch was in a nice location with interesting and tasty Vietnamese dishes. These were by far our favorite parts of the trip. We also took a boat to an island on the Mekong. We saw bee keeping, singing, and fruit gardens on the island. Each station and place to visit has something to sell or tips to give. So if interested, just make sure you have enough small bills and dong. Possibly even 500k more. We did not realize all the extra, so started to run out of cash dong towards the end of the trip. Overall the trip was nice and the Cu Chi tunnels are definitely a highlight of the tour!
