Considered one of the most scenic drives in America.
I have been up and down this highway from as far south as Mississippi to my hometown of Winona, and all the way to Duluth, Minnesota.

This was a very interesting place to visit with its working water wheel and most of the inner workings still in place. The mill has 6 levels to visit and each floor had its own use.

Although it is a private residence, the exterior is beautiful and well maintained. It is an Italian Villa style home built in 1857 for Henry D. Huff and is one of the oldest and well-preserved homes of this style in the state. In 1873, Huff sold the home to Henry W. Lamberton who added the Moorish gazebo and porch. In 1967, the building was added to the National Register of Historic places. Well worth a drive by - or better, a walk around. So many well maintained period homes and a park nearby.
