This beautiful church was designed by famous Finnish architect Lars Sonck and built early 20th century. I highly recommend a visit and admiring all simple and beautiful detailed decorations. To get all out of the visit, I recommend to read about the church before hand.

Awesome view from the tower!!! The café downstairs is very good with nice coffee and hot chocolate and the best munkki in the whole Finland! (You can find many different things to drink and eat as well) Besides, Pyynikki has nice places to visit around, like pyynikin uimaranta (beach), the theater etc. Definitely must visit this place!

The Amuri museum quarter consists of five residential and four outbuildings. All of the former lie in their original positions as do the outbuildings.
This block of wooden buildings showcases the working-class lifestyle and history. The museum area is a typical enclosed quarter of the 1880s including 32 apartments, which illustrate the life of local industrial workers from 1880 to 1970. The museum is open only during the summer. There are a lot of stairs to climb.

Magnificent view over Tampere, a city between two lakes, and Pirkanmaa landscape. Spacious observation deck with large windows and a cafeteria. Windows were slightly annoyingly dirty outside. There is also a restaurant, but we didn't visit there.

Lovely Orthodox style church, very close to Tampere University and also railway station. Might remember you about the Uspenski Cathedral in Helsinki. When I went there, it was closed but a local explained that it would be open on the following day (a Saturday) at 18 o'clock. :) Enjoy Tampere.
