On the eastern side of the Saxon Garden, in the part that survived the Saxon Palace after World War II, lies the Tomb of the Unknown Polish Corps - in memory of the soldiers who fell in the battles for Polish independence and their names and / or burial places are unknown. The place looks like a small church with a "The constant flame of fire" and a guard of honor of soldiers guarding it and giving military honor to the fallen. The honor guard exchange ceremony is held every day at 12:00.

The church of the Holy Cross dates back to the 17th century but has been severely damaged more than once, most recently by the German invaders during WWII. It has been used for many important ceremonies including the funeral of the political thinker Stanislaw Staszic (1755-1826), & Fryderyk Chopin's heart is interred in one of the main pillars. The restored interior is light & features lots of fresh gilding, magnificent altars & a very grand organ.

This church is located adjacent to Castle Square. This amazing church can be overlooked because Castle Square is stealing all the attention. Also, this church looks very different from the outside than the other churches on the Royal Route. It has a Neoclassical facade. The interior has a Baroque style with several chapels. The surprisingly rich interior is filled with frescoes. Not only the interior is stunning but there is also a viewing terrace that has panoramic views of Warsaw Old Town.

This isn't a very long road but boy is it busy! There are cars, busses, taxis, and so many people hurrying everywhere. There are lots of shops and so many restaurants it was difficult to decide where to eat. After the rush hour traffic has passed then it's a lot more peaceful and you can relax and have a nice meal with the compulsory shot of vodka of course.

This white fountain was designed in 1855 by Henryk Marconi as part of the city's first sewer and filter system.
One of the most beautiful (if not the most one) attractions in the Saxon Gardens in Warsaw is the stunning Marconi Fountain. Located a short distance from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and visible from almost every corner of the spectacular gardens, especially from all the wide paths around the gardens which almost all of them converge in the main square in the center of which stands the wonderful fountain. A beautiful and interesting site. It is highly recommended NOT 2 B MISSED.

Definitely worth climbing these stairs, not only for the great views of Old Town, but also for the amazing panoramic view of most of the city. From here, you can see the national stadium, Palace of culture and the skyscrapers. For a really small fee too!

There are 15 benches placed in the sites where the famous Polish composer Frederic Chopin spent his time in Warsaw in the first part of the 19th century. The benches are made of black polished granite and include a map presenting all locations on the Chopin Route in Warsaw. The benches give the possibility of listening to his music. Every bench has a different composition.

Considered Poland's highest building, this monumental skyscraper (circa 1955) contains 42 floors at a height of 230.68 meters (756.82 feet), topped with a needle height of 43 meters (141.08 feet).
It is the tallest building of the city – at the time when it was built it was the 2nd tallest building in Europe with 231m – and it is still the highest building in Poland It is a gift to the people of Warsaw from the USSR and got built in 1952 and opened in 1955 It resembles Moscow’s’ Socialist realist tower blocks and is a symbol of the soviet domination You can pay and go up to the 30th floor the “Taras”: and there we had and amazing view.
