This is a small church in the centre of skopje at the back of the old bazaar. For a small fee you can see inside where there is very impressive hand-carved iconography which is about 8 x 3 metres and was done by only 3 craftsmen. The whole visit takes less than half an hour. Locals are quite rightly very proud of this church.

Admission is cheap and a short tour of the church is included. It was very impressive, particularly the carvings. We also enjoyed the tour a lot. Our guide was both informative and funny. Very glad we stopped in.

The space is simply amazing! You'll find paintings, sculptures, and modern art. The art is captivating and unique. Located at the Old Bazaar. The tariff is only 50 dinara and no charge for photos.

We spent about 20 minutes here and were glad we stopped in. We learned a lot about Mother Teresa and got to see some of her personal effects that are on display.

The Millennium Cross in Skopje is a 66-meter tall cross, built on top Vodno Mountain in 2002 to commemorate 2,000 years of Christianity in Macedonia.
We took a taxi from city centre up to Mount Vodno and then up the mountain with the cable car where we spent 1 hour. Enough time to take photos and grab a coffee/tea as the wind is quite chilly up there. If travelling with a taxi, it would be best if you agree with the driver to wait for you to go back down to the city centre.

The Stone Bridge is the place to be, especially in the evening. Besides being a historical bridge, there are lots of interesting places in the vicinity : the quaint old town, rows of cafes and restaurants, the pedestrian street, Mother Theresa's building, more than a hundred statues, including Alexander the Great and the old fort nearby.
