The Rasa Ria Nature Reserve was established by Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu in collaboration with the State Wildlife Department of Sabah. This protected ecological space aims to facilitate rehabilitation programmes for endangered species of animals as well as those endemic in Sabah. The Rasa Ria Nature Reserve provides a home until they ready to be rehabilitated into their natural habitat. *Following 20 years of joint management between Sabah Wildlife Department (SWD) and Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa (RRR), the Orangutan Rehabilitation and Conservation Programme has ultimately reached a successful conclusion. The wildlife conservation programme at the Nature Interpretation Centre continues, with expanded conservation education and activities. Visitors can now trek deep into the nature trails with rangers to learn about exotic plants, native to the area and found throughout the in the 64-arce Nature Reserve.
Just spent 9 nights at the Rasa Ria in KK and we had an amazing time. The Ocean Wing was great, the extra touches (mini bar, happy hour, balcony bath) are well worth the upgrade. The Rasa Ria team also made our stay extra special. Particular thanks to Aster in reception and Cenavera at breakfast but the list could go on. So many great people who do everything they can to make your stay fabulous. Would highly recommend the hotel and Borneo. Epic trip.

Visited this place for the 2nd time while traveling to Kudat. It seems to be a must-go-to-place if you're ever in Kudat, Sabah. Scenery is as always expected, beautiful sunset as the sun goes down. The sea waves was a little rough, probably due to the Nov-Feb wind from South China Sea, but also a good time for surfers to strut on their surfing board! Would recommend travelers to visit this place in the month of June/July as annually there will be a Sunset Music Fest at the Tip of Borneo takes place in June at the northern most tip of Borneo (check local calendars for confirmation). Cafe's and restaurant has definitely improved a little better during my visit, however would hope that the community there would introduced more coconut flavors to their menu as Kudat is well known for their coconut tree (hence their landmark - which is shaped as a coconut). Accommodation wise, pretty decent. Well priced and comfortable. There's stretch of hotels, chalets, rentals for a night experience. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this place and will definitely come back again! :)

Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery which contains a total number of 3,900 burials. The cemetery lies on the Jalan Tanjong Batu road which leads from the airport to the town. It is less than a kilometre from the airport and about 3 kilometres from the Island's town; Victoria. Within the Cemetery will be found the Labuan Memorial and the Labuan Cremation Memorial.
This memorial to those who died in WW2 is very well maintained and the cemetery is quiet and peaceful. The Remembrance Day ceremonies are held here every year. The staff who maintain the memorial park are to be commended. Also thanks to the Malaysian government and the Malaysian Armed services for their help. A special thanks to the U.K. war graves commission for their support.

A beautiful garden that is taken care by a man who came from Thailand and married local. Truly appreciate and respect the effort he spent on the garden.

This is a very beautiful Temple in Kota Kinabalu which is very well kept and very clean. It has beautiful gardens with a lotus pond and it is so peaceful. I visited this beautiful Temple with my wife during our tour of Borneo in October 2017 and we will cherish the beautiful memories of this beautiful Temple and Borneo always and forever. ????????????????????????

Free entrance. Take a grab from KFC in Semporna town approximately RM11 to get there. To save your budget better go in grouping more cheaper. It will takes around 30 minutes to reach there. If possible come early because the place will close at 5 pm. So you can have more time to enjoy the stunning view if you come early. Suitable for nature lovers and hikers. Mind your step and climb slowly. Do not rushing just enjoy the breeze and amazing view surrounding you. Don't forget to witness the sunset and take photo or selfie for your remembrance. Get down before the sun go down and dark for your safety purpose. Wear a suitable shoes for your convenience. Highly recommended and it's a must to visit.

This home gives an excellent impression of the life of Agnes Newton Keith and her husband and son. Well displayed historical information of their life in Sabah, the tastefully decorated and furnished rooms and the architecture of the house itself give a wonderful impression of the life of a colonial professional and his novelwriting wife at that time.
