We stopped at the club while visiting Amsterdam. The location of the club, right in the dam square, is perfect to take a mid day break. Wines recommended by the staff were delicious and probably best priced in the whole of the city. Lunch was delicious and service was great. We sat in the balcony for a while over looking the Dam square and it was brilliant way to enjoy a cigar, outdoor but protected. Really good service.

This area in the oldest part of Amsterdam is known for the red neon windows that display barely-dressed prostitutes advertising their services; it's all perfectly acceptable as long as it stays inside this designated area of the city.
This is fabulous to see and explore, we as a couple felt safe everywhere, the ladies do not allow any pics at all even selfies in the area, it is very busy, best to go after dark for full effect, deffo visit the museums there as they are fab, the €2 peep shows are also a must, visit the banana bar for an eye opener and the bulldog for a drink to sit and watch it all go by, it's a must when you go to Amsterdam.

Excellent location to visit! We took a metro from Wibaustraat to here every day during our visit because we loved the sites in the area and walking through this square was wonderful. It has a fantastic array of pubs and cafes as well as being close to the red light district and Dam Square. It is fairly quiet considering it’s locality to these popular tourist spots. Beautiful both day and night- stop by Nieumarkt you won’t be disappointed.

The best selection of cheap eateries in Amsterdam is to be found on Zeedijk.
The "Chinatown" area of Amsterdam. There's certainly a large concentration of Chinese restaurants in the are, a Chinese temple and Chinese supermarket. Although the area is quite trendy and cosmopolitan and comprises restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes.
