We were in Holland for a soccer camp on a Monday. We wanted to get blueberries while we were out. I am not very familiar with the area so I googled blueberry farms and S. Kamphuis was closest to where we were. We arrived and it didn't look like they were open so I checked online again and realized that they didn't open for the season until later that week. As I realized that, a gentleman came to my window and I explained we didn't realize they hadn't opened yet. He said "we have blueberries, give me five minutes and we will have some for you". Sure enough, a few minutes later, they were weighing and boxing up our blueberries for us! The blueberries were delicious, the price was great, and the friendly service was amazing. We live about an hour from Holland but will go out of our way to get blueberries here again.

The Critter Barn is an educational hands-on farm. We are located on three acres south of Zeeland, the site of an old dairy farm. My 4 year old daughter had a really great time here! We were warmly welcomed by a nice lady and an adorable bunny. The farm was well laid out and we were given a map to make sure we did not miss any animals as there were plenty. Donkeys, pigs, horses, chickens, goats and SO MANY BUNNIES! I had no idea there were so many different kind of bunnies. Huge ones, long hair ones, bunnies with bulging necks, bunnies with the softest fur I've ever felt. My daughter loved being able to sit in a bin with the bunnies and pet them. She especially loved being able to feed the animals hay (a pail purchased up front for just $1). She could have been in enclosed goat bin all day feeding goats. There were hand washing/sanitizer stations everywhere, and with the appointment setting/limited capacity, I felt very safe. Well done Critter Barn! We'll be back for sure!

The Bowerman family has been growing blueberries since 1954. The farm has already picked blueberries along with other local fresh produce. We offer u-pick blueberries in season mid-July through mid-August. We also make delicious blueberry donuts every morning. Our bakery also makes muffins, pies, crisps, coffee cakes, turnovers, homemade fudge and more. Everyone loves our fruit smoothies and soft serve ice cream. Open Sundays after the 4th of July through Labor Day. The store is open seasonally June through November each year. In the off season call to purchase frozen blueberries by appointment.

Just before Thanksgiving they had a pie tasting event. Wow... Talk about fantastic tasting pies. We have enjoyed their blueberries and now are hooked on their baked goods as well. You really need to try their blueberry donuts. Heavenly!

I am on the grounds often and did a haunted tour last summer, beautiful place with rich history! Definitely a visit in need if you are a history buff!

Easy walk out the pier, can't really tour/get into the lighthouse itself. Great views back at the beach and lake. A must-do while in Grand Haven. Be careful if you try and scramble up the large boulders from the beach to the pier - they are slick!

We were very pleased to find this park. During the season there is a lot to see as well. This Locomotive is the model for the train in The movie Polar Express. Make this a stop for kids of all ages to experience.
