Garroorigang is an Historic Home - part of Goulburn's history for 158 years. Step back in time to a house which is full of Victorian and Edwardian furniture, books, and other items from those periods. It is still a lived-in family home for the Hume family (collateral descendants of Hamilton Hume), which is open to the public.

My mum and I attended the farm and lunch tour and we thought it was fantastic. We learnt so many new things that we can now try in our own gardens. The lunch was absolutely yummy and we will be definitely going back for more educational classes. Thank you to our lovely host.

This is a remote old township isolated by the Warragamba catchment and requires a difficult drive along some challenging dirt roads. But the effort is worth it. Filled with history as an old mining town many buildings still stand and some feature collections of the past. Yerranderie is located in absolutely stunning bushland and presents a tranquil and serene little village. There are a range of occupants still living there but the village features no shops or services - so come prepared. Accomodation includes camp sites with good facilities or rudimentary lodging in some of the old buildings which include shared bathrooms. The National Parks rangers, who stay on site, provide good quality fire wood and are knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of the site.
