Visit our small farm to meet traditional (and some untraditional) Norwegian farm animals. Pig, chicken, sheep, chinchilla – and much more! Experience close contact with the animals and learn about farm life in North-Norway. We also have play areas for children and in our cosy cafe we serve coffee, cakes, Norwegian svele and more. Welcome!

Henningsvær is a very cosy little place that I enjoy staying in. Small shops and galleries, great characteristic fishing village and still a vibrant town. Just being here makes me relax. Take some time here and slow down.

Experience the history of the Lofoten Fishery at one of the best preserved squires in Lofoten. On the site of the medieval town of Vågar (now called Storvågan / SKREI Experience Center) you'll find the stately 1815 main building, authentic fishermen's cabins, and boathouses featuring Nordland boats. The museum also offers picture-games and exhibitions on the Lofoten fisheries, ports and coastal lighthouses, traditional crafts and a beautiful garden with historic perennials.
