The 11th and 12th century Romanesque cloister adjoins the Cathedral built between the end of the 11th and the end of the 12th century to accommodate the influx of pilgrims who frequented this famous site. It is remarkable for its capitals and the polychromy of its arches. The tour continues in the mâchicoulis building which houses a collection of religious art (11th to 18th century). Lovely Stop on the Camino Santiago we appreciated the Puy en Velay so much and it was a great pleasure to climb inside the Statue to the 360 degrees Cockpit bulb to appreciate the view from the Head of Notre Dame de France once more while a sunny early summer evening . Happy Sharing Happy Outside
