This chapel was so beautiful and right behind it there was an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding cliffs. We were even able to see a bunch of lizards. Really cool spot and felt very private and not crowded.

Punta Sur

Reviewed By ChristiCa - Genoa, United States

This is the beautiful site where the sunrise is first seen in Mexico every day. The view is gorgeous, the stone path walkways lead you to a rocky trek along the surf where the caves and cutaways (and sleepy iguanas) allow for great photos, and artwork in the form of metal sculptures and rock cairns make this trip altogether rejuvenating and memorable.

Iglesia de Concepcion Immaculada

I didn’t have an opportunity to attend mass however, I was able to see the inside of the church as I was traveling through the town square. I was extremely impressed with the way the Stations of the Cross are depicted along the walls of the church. I must admit that the artist decision to show the Station of the Cross this way is quite thought provoking. I not only appreciated the craftsmanship but the powerful message that is told through this artistic expression. Amazing!!!

OMG. Love the Malecon. Great way to exercise and get some sun! My husband and I walked this everyday on our trip. Good sea glass hunting on the beach..but you must climb down the rocky wall to get to it. The ocean can be alittle rough at times so you must be careful. But walk the Malecon from end to end.

Crayola House

Hola! And thank you for visiting the Crayola House! This is a private home in Isla Mujeres, but the murals that grace the front are available for all to see. Our murals are the first large scale murals of it's kind on the island and the only ones that have lasted this long (over 15 years)!!! Intrigued by the colors and designs, visitors flocked to take pictures, and someone even gave it the name "Crayola House". We don't know who. To us it was always just "home". The initial work (as well as the upkeep) have taken many arduous hours of work over the course of the years. And because of that, we appreciate your visits and the photos you share. After riding around on a golf cart in the hot sun, there's really nothing better than cooling off inside the Ice Bar. Admission gets you two drinks and one shot. It's so fun to hang out inside... ice sculptures and cups/shot glasses make the whole experience so fun. You can go in and out until you've finished your allotted drinks. A wonderful thing to do as a hangover cure! Don't miss it.
