This lovely statue is a must in Frantiskovy Lazne. It is believed to help to get pregnant to those who suffer of infertility after touching him. I did so 24 years ago and it didn't really help. Surprisingly! But when I came again this year I felt very excited remembering that act of hesitating touch knowing that it is foolish but hoping in miracle. The statue in the park is a copy of original Frantisek which is currently placed in the city museum.

Area around New Colonnade is my favourite place in Frantiskovy Lazne. Buildings are simply beautiful, very well preserved and neat and whole place is nicely decorated by flowers in summer. It is busy enough to feel alive but never really overcrowded. There is a nice café directly at the colonnade and little shop with typical spa wafers, some souvenirs and ice cream.

We happened to witness a worship in this lovely little church which was an unforgettable experience. The building itself is not as impressive as for instance the orthodox church in Karlovy Vary but it is beautiful, in a good condition and very well worth a visit.

Glauber sources hall is the most beautiful and best preserved hall in Frantiskovy Lazne. It is currently under reconstruction and it is surrounded by scaffolding therefore it is not possible to enjoy the building from outside but the hall is accessible without limitation and it is definitely worth it. It is richly decorated and the springs bubbling in the big glass pots gives it a mysterious atmosphere. During our visit there was a photography exhibition. It is also good to know that there are public (paid) toilets in the building.
