Sundance Square is a hidden gem. As you drive by, if you blink you may miss it. Best option is to park in the Sundance square Garage across from the Bass Performance Hall and walk approx 1.5 blocks to get to Sundance Square - Very relaxing to just sit and enjoy the ambiance, especially at night when the lights are on/changing, the water fountain is going and the buildings around you light up. you might get lucky and even get some live music while you are there.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is a beautiful and refreshing oasis. Designed by Phillip Johnson, the Fort Worth Water Gardens is an architectural and engineering marvel to be enjoyed any time of the year. Visitors can experience a variety of water features as they wander through this relaxing urban park.
This little gem was found while walking away from a conference this spring. It is a large outdoor water garden with use of stone, trees, cement, sculpture and water to create playful art. It reminded me a little of Frank Lloyd Wright style in the use of these natural elements to create beauty. This is a area that you can enjoy day or night and with adults or kids. Their are interesting features, and often birds taking part o the water features, the kids found it nice to have a little area to stretch their legs while the parents enjoyed the sites. I have been here twice, once with kids and once with spouse, a great place for a little peace and interesting scenery.

McFarland House was Fort Worth's second property to be designated a City of Fort Worth Landmark (1980). Known as the region's most intact Queen Anne residence, the elegant Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House was built high on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River.

My cousin got married here in April and it was such a lovely service. This historic Catholic church has the most beautiful architecture and lovely stained glass windows. There was plenty of room to social distance as they had every other pew roped off for safety.

If you are there on a weekday, go inside to look up towards the top of the dome, see the small museum inside, and look at the courthouse replica made with matches. While there are many beautiful Texas courthouses, this one is one of the most impressive in terms of size and details.

If you are out walking downtown, this is a nice memorial with pictures to JFK. A great photo op too.
