This is a very attractive place where, reading the headstones, you can gain an insight into early Cairns. In middle of the cemetery there's a roster of graves, so if you're looking for someone in specific, this handy signage will facilitate your search. There is a fence all the way around the cemetery which is kept locked during hours of darkness.

These rock stacks are along Captain Cook highway on the way to Port Douglas. If your going to visit the Great Barrier Reefs this will be along the highway, well worth a stop and a few pictures, beautiful.

Another gem to visit on the Atherton Tablelands - we were greeted upon arrival by more than one staff member - shown the range of cheese and chocolate to sample - yummy cheese tasting !! Very helpful staff - I have a disability and the girls helped me off to the ladies room - the food was great - we sampled the Devonshire tea and they use real cream - yes folks not out of a can - real cream - staff were impressively and sincerely nice - just really nice people - pleasant ambience - roomy eating area and you can view the cheese making and milking if you’ve a mind to - loved it !!!!
