This is an excellent spot right on the main piazza to have a drink, soak in the wonderful views and watch the world go by. The English speaking staff are friendly and welcoming. They offer complimentary savoury snacks with your drinks and my favourite was a freshly baked bread with spinach, tomatoes, tuna, olives and pistachio crumbs. In fact the snacks are so good we stayed for more drinks to see if they would bring more...and they did. This time a lovely bread filled with courgettes, tomatoes, basil and anchovies.

A very relaxing environment. We brought our dog on his first vacation. Trip Advisor selected this as a property that allows pets and based on reviewer comments we decided to try it and we couldnt have been more pleased! I would return, but its only an hour from my home........if we wanted to stay again, I would not hesitate. The food is excellent and they even prepared a steak for our dog. They provided a dish for drinking water but we also brought our own. The place is situated near beaches and local attractions so remember, its not hard to find a room in Scopello butif you are looking for quality, the view, atmosphere.......and parking.....this is a very good choice!

Rather an odd atmosphere - it felt like sitting in a small marquee or warehouse, but greta food. Vino â¬16, water â¬2, we shared a spaghetti alle vongele, then tuna and swordfish, with nice fresh tomato-based salad. â¬69 total, which didn't feel too bad.

The house of Pani Cunzatu. Noone does it better. Stop here if you want to taste the real Pani Cunzatu. Service is not included. You have to do it by yourself. Do not expect a restaurant: just grab the food and swallow it! Sicily is in every bite :)

Tucked away in the back-streets of the wonderful Scopello with a view over the tonnara below, the menu held much promise and the food, while it was tasty and served promptly, the staff were a little surly, particularly when we didnât order any secondi, dessert or coffee. A little more pricey than other lunches we have had on our visit but perhaps expected given the location.

We both had mediocre meals here. My calamari was slightly overcooked and rubbery, although not terrible. My wife had unremarkable pasta that was supposed to come with prawns, although nothing seemed to be left of them other than their deceptively large, decorative heads. The mixed seafood starter was just OK. This place seems to trade on the views from its terrace, but there are really only three tables with views, and youâd have to reserve in advance to get one of them. On the whole, this was a disappointing experience. Youâd be much, much better offâboth in terms of food quality and viewsâat La Cioloma.

Our is a restaurant located in the center of Castellammare del Golfo just a few meters from the Port. It is a restaurant built inside an ancient monastery of 1870, with characteristic walls of the time, all associated with a great Mediterranean fish cuisi
Being welcomed with warmth, friendliness and professionalism is one good, when not essential, thing when dining out. The word restaurant literally means "a place where to restore", hence the first element is there and Francesco knows how to treat his customers! However, the real BOOM BANG experience is their food! Simply excellent on all fronts! The fish is super fresh, caught and brought daily from local fishermen. The freshness is something that you see with your eyes and experience in your mouth, at each bite, without failing ever your senses! We ate an antipasto of sea cruditè with red and white prawns (so fresh that only the very skin of the head was left, without the inside is understood!), tuna and sword fish tart-tar, one oyster (I leave it to your imagination to gather how fresh the oyster was), and marinated salmon. Then their stable and revisited pasta con le sarde with busiate and turmeric flavoured breadcrumbs was to die for! and obviously, because you judge a restaurant from their most simple dish, I decided to go for spaghetti alle vongole, and here I was totally utterly entirely thrilled! This is a must go, whether if you happen to be near by or if you have to fly from New York to go there!!!!! Highly recommended!

I feel I owe it to the Trip Advisor community to let you know how disappointing this restaurant is.It had been recommended by our hotel because it was right next door so we gave it a go. We ordered an entree of 6 mixed fish appetisers. The presentation was most unappetising. The platter consisted of smoked fish which was quite nice, but the marinated octopus was slimy, and the cubes of tuna were so over cooked they were like tough meat. A minced raw prawn concoction had an unpleasant flavour. We sent most of the platter back uneaten and complained to management, but they still charged us the full price and made no effort to even compensate with even a single glass of wine, which would have been a nice gesture. Our main course was a fresh grilled fish which was simply prepared and cleaned beautifully for us at the table. That was a nice touch, and the waitstaff were all very nice. Unfortunately the fish had no flavour whatsoever. The owner brought us the bill and was unapologetic, and not at all gracious, saying that many other diners do enjoy the entree platter. That didnât help our experience at all. He would be well advised to handle complaints in a nicer way!It was quite expensive too. We couldnât wait to get out of there!Fortunately, we had some terrific dining experiences elsewhere is San Vito Lo Capo.I feel i owe it to the trip advisor comunity to let you know how arrogant this lady is thanks to the hotel next door we Have many clients sent to us mainly because we mainten a high standard and specily of 100 per cent quality of food we mainten a small menu because we cook everyday fresh food i disagreed with this client because the starter was perfect i explained to this lady who complained of the freshness that around her about 50 persons we did note Have no complaints at all we had only compliments so i retain that the starter is correctly paid if the client instead of offending our food world Have said that this dish was not of her understanding i would have not included the starter on the bill and to her comment on the price that she found high in the entrance and at the table she saw the prices and she could have declined if she thought that we were expensive anyway i would like to say that the husbund was a real gentleman of his wife i prefer if is better not to comment saluti and by the way with the were you stayed we have been overbooked all year round maybe there Will be a motive
