During our stay in Lipari we ate at several restaurants from the most prestigious and expensive to the cheapest. This one was the best.Good food, well cooked, well presented and very tasty. Service was very pleasant and effective. It was deservedly busy so booking is essential.Recommended

I had dinner with my friends here and we found a friendly atmosphere with tasty food. The main courses were excellent, whilst the second dishes had some imperfections. The terrace is beautiful, with a magic view toward Salina island.Highly recommended.

Very helpful staff who were willing to help me choose a dish that suited my dietary requirements. Food was superb and loved the extras to start including bread, olives and another hot fried bite sized food that we couldn't name but very tasty! Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. We visited twice!

The place is humble and you can only seat outside but we suggest to pay your granita and have it by the coastline on the opposite side of the street.Positives:They have two super delicious granita flavours which are the local speciality:1) granita caffe (coffee)2) granita mandorla (almond)3) it's an authentic place - no design, no customer service, just authenticity people and flavours.Negatives:1) guess what's the othe side of my previous point 3..... 2) outside table are on the main square so there is a bit of traffic3) as typical Sicilian people, staff looks constantly annoyed from your request. But don't get confused or upset! It is the local way of being and deliciousness of the two granita I mentioned is worthy

We visited Fusion for dinner whilst staying in Lipari. The location, in Lipariâs central port, does shout âtourist trap!â, but - as the rating on here suggests - the food and overall experience here are a lot better than that. We visited twice and the standout dishes we had were the swordfish and pistachio spaghetti (trust me it works), the spaghetti with clams and the mixed grilled fish (the grilled tuna especially was wonderful). Wine was also very nice and reasonably priced - even the house white was very good. The service is friendly and well paced, and both nights we were there the staff did really well to move diners out of the extremely intense rain storm that came about very quickly! Prices are fairly average for what we saw whilst around the Eoilan Islands but the pasta dishes especially are good value (13-15 Euro) and we certainly felt we got a lot of good food for the price we paid. Seating is mostly outside which is great for the summer months and the atmosphere in the port has a nice buzz without being too busy (although we were not there at absolute peak season). This was a step above the other places we ate in a Lipari and one of the best places we ate at in the islands as a whole.

We ate at Caffe la Vela on the recommendation of the owner of our B&B.Had two meals here, dinner. Where we each had one of the specials of the day, swordfish and red tuna. Both very fresh, simply cooked and served with a simple salad. Good value house white. We returned for lunch and each tried one of the salads, bresaola for me and smoked tuna and swordfish for Rob. Two local beers and two espressos, total â¬34 for a huge meal. The waterfront environment is busy, itâs a great place to watch the world go by

My girlfriend and I decided to go there after our hotel's receptionist advise. Best advise ever: the restaurant has a beautiful back yard where you can enjoy a Sicilian dinner under flowered arch and good smelling plants. Seafood was fresh and the cuisine combines innovation and tradition with high quality standard. Thanks

After visiting Filipino restaurant in Lipari which I was not really impressed we have been advised to visit Villa Liberty. It was a nice surprise in terms of location as well as food. Very friendly staff, good quality fish, and really good dishes. Choice of dishes is not enormous, but they are done very well. Good choice of wines as well. I would recommend it over other proclaimed places in Lipari.

Warm welcome and cold drinks set the scene for the giant panini served moments later. While Vera provided a nice balance of ham and capers, the Calabria really put a spring in my step. Its spicy pesto, pepper-jack cheese and salami was very vibrant, and was washed down with a nice bottle of Moretti. My other half loved her malvasia, which was cold, crisp and very moreish. Great value at 19 euro including a bottle of water.Must visit in Lipari. Wide selection of wines, beers and spirits. Many tasty food options on request too. Give it a try - and just ask.
