Golden palaces, floating markets, majestic porcelain-laid spires…you've never seen a capital city quite like Bangkok. Visit Pratunam or Siam Square for premium shopping, then unwind in the European-style gardens of Dusit. Thon Buri is home to the awesome Wat Arun temple, and over in Phra Nakhon, you’ll find the Wat Pho temple of the Reclining Buddha. Savor mango sticky rice at a food stall before taking in the gilded splendor of the Grand Palace.

Though intended as a wholesale shopping center, the Platinum Shopping Mall houses many retail stores selling clothing, accessories, and cosmetics. It has a flea market setup, so feel free to haggle.
Platinum Fashion Mall is one of Bangkok's iconic and "must visit" malls !! It offers a few levels of ladies, mens and childrens clothing , along with a huge range of fashion accessories, imitation jewellery, shoes , toys , stationary , souvenirs and a huge food court . Great to be here as early as possible to beat the crowds and some shop owners are more willing to bargain or offer little discounts, especially if you are polite and smile !! So do not forget to use your charm and bargaining skills !!

I went to Krung Thong Plaza mainly for the Fat Girls shop, which I'd heard lots of good things about. I'm about an Australian size 22-24, so a long way outside standard sizing, and particularly hard to find in Thailand. The staff were really helpful in finding the correct sizes and suggesting things. I bought a ruffled skirt, a blazer and a brightly printed shirt; all were stylish and a little bit different from what you'd expect. After I'd finished my shopping, almost as an afterthought, I suggested my partner look at the men's shirts - and he ended up buying 4! (Including one with elephants on it, which is adorable!) The men's shirts are well designed for larger men, making sure to be big enough and long enough in the right places, so they're comfortable as well as stylish. I really wish they had an online shop, since we'll likely not be back in Thailand anytime soon!

Chillis n ice is a real taste of north and south Indian delicacies. Actual delicate spicing instead of the usual glop and oil. Wide variety of dishes...
This is a cheap market for clothes and bags. You need to spend time choosing and bargaining. The food court was also very good with Thai and Indian food out lets.

Lots of shops but mostly closed. The only happening in this place is there's lots of places offering massage. I tried one in front of the escalator (from KFC side) for foot massage. I don't recommend it though. I had bruises on my left leg. Then came across reviews for Sixth Sense & Urai. Sixth Sense had closed down already. Urai Massage on Shop 2A 213 2nd floor is highly recommended. The only lady who spoke English well is Nee. Do drop by to make an appointment as they can get really busy at times. I really enjoy my thai massage with her. Too bad I only managed to find the place on my last night. Will definitely go to her on my next visit to Bangkok.
