Montpellier Gallery is one of England’s longest established independent retail craft galleries, first opening in 1989. We have built a strong reputation for our individuality, varied choice and careful selection, and now exhibit some of the finest Studio Glass, Contemporary Jewellery and Ceramics alongside Fine Art and Sculpture by established and emerging artist/makers. Set in a 400 year old building opposite the Shakespeare Hotel, Montpellier gallery comprises three adjoining rooms, opening to a delightful courtyard which floods the rooms with natural light. We like to think we offer a welcoming and friendly atmosphere together with a knowledgeable staff and attentive service.

My husband and I passed the Barn on our way to Stratford-Upon-Avon and decided to pop in. Wow what an amazing Antiques and Collectibles centre, so much to see, all under one roof. Everything was well priced and we felt very safe walking around. Hand sanitiser was available to use and everyone was wearing masks, the pay desk had big clear screens up. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful, best antique centre we have visited. Will return when in area again - thank you to the staff

Astley Book Farm is the largest second hand book shop in the Midlands. 4000Sq feet of renovated farm steading filled with thousands of quality second hand books. Antiquarian & Collectable, an extensive Science Fiction section and barns of non-fiction, together with a well stocked Children's Hayloft and Ten-Bob Barn make this the perfect destination for the booklover. Our relaxing Coffee Shop offers a wonderful array of locally produced cake and light lunches, with a log-burner for cold days and Coffee Garden courtyard sitting in the sun. Ample car parking is available on-site. Open everyday 10am - 5pm. See our website for special events, sales and further details.
With mazes of shelves buckling beneath a massed heft of books, and the air perfumed to high heaven with that particulair musk that radiates specifically, and deliciously, from second hand books, Astley book farm will jangle and tingle every sensory thrill of a commited bibliophile. Each avalaible inch is filled with a book, and just as you think you've reached the end of an apparently never-ending warren, you turn into another vista piled high with litreature. And whilst it only feels like they must sell every book ever written here, there will certainly be something for everyone amongst the clutter of gems. Book-buying, and in vast quantities, was the aim of the day, so I gave little thought to the cafe beforehand. But we did call in and found it a very good adjunnct to the main event. And whilst I'm not a milkshake afficinado myself, my daughter is and she proclaimed her 'shake as "tasting if it had come from heaven and made by God!". Higher praise than that, will be hard to find! First time here, but I'll be back, and probably more than once, in the future!
