Sitting at the point where the Sierra Laguna mountains meet the desert and the Pacific, Todos Santos is a piece of Baja you don’t want to miss. But get here soon—Todos Santos is transitioning from a quiet, dusty Mexican seaside secret into the bustling hermanito of Cabo San Lucas, so you'll want to visit before the crowds are permanent.

My favorite gallery in town. Before we were locals, we strolled the art galleries of Todos Santos as tourists. Sonrisa de la Muerte is the one gallery that draws me back time and again. It is also a must-stop for our guests because they can enjoy the art, purchase something small as a delightful keepsake or something on a grander scale to grace their walls at home. I fell in love with a print and it was my first big purchase and the lovely couple/owners explained it was a piece from the La Piztola Collective in Oaxaca whose street art and murals always have a social message. The art and artists have a story and the proprietors are great storytellers. Don't miss this treasure!

If you have your heart set on a beautiful, unique authentic piece of Mexican clothing made by artisans make your way to Etnica if you are ever near Todos Santos. Exquisitely curated by the lovely owner, Nina. The handwoven pieces and quality are truly one of a kind, not like the mass produced junk that unfortunately is omnipresent at any tourist destination. Each time I get back to Todos Santos, I will absolutely stop in to Etnica!
