You've probably heard that Guinness tastes better in Dublin (fresh from the factory), but what you may not know is that Dublin is a perfect destination for the whole family. No, we're not suggesting you let the kiddies drink a pint. Instead, take them to the Dublin Zoo, to feed the ducks in Stephen's Green or on a picnic in Phoenix Park. Scholars enjoy walking in the literary footsteps of such writers as Yeats and Joyce, while discerning shoppers have their pick of designer boutiques.

A large and eclectic collection of vinyl records and rock literature can be found at this music store.
I cannot recommend this shop high enough for online purchases. Fantastic bargains, speedy delivery and a friendly touch with a hand written note on the receipt. 10 out of 10!

A bookstore specializing in signed, first and limited editions of books written by Irish authors: a must for the avid book collector.
Brought my daughter on one of my twice yearly visits. She was a kid then, now she goes back a lot herself. Always find staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable from the original old gentleman himself to his son/daughter who now run the shop. Could spend hours in there but time does not allow. My favourite bookshop anywhere, always look forward to my trips there.Have picked up signed first editions in my area of interest. Highly recommended.

A shop specializing in Irish-themed products, from clothing to pottery.
Bought some clothes, blouses and slacks with good quality and excellent fit. Bought a Claddagh ring here a third the price in a jewelry store. Much nicer too. They set me up with a Horizon card for on the spot refund of VAT. Could have used that earlier. Sales staff were knowledgeable and efficient. Big food area on second floor featuring Irish music. Great store. Worth a side trip.

Purveyors of the finest Irish tweed, handwoven for us in Donegal. We’ve been providing quality mens wear, ladies wear, headgear and accessories for more than 80 years. Buy our tweed by the meter, purchase a garment off the peg or send us your measurements and we’ll make a unique piece to fit.
Yesterday I wore the magenta wool hat I bought on my visit to Dublin and I was reminded of this fantastic store. It was a place that drew my husband and I in to visit. So many wonderful tweed articles and the great wool hats. But best of all was the charming man who ran the store. I would go back any time. I would love to own one of the tweed jackets. Maybe on our next visit.
