I am a local but everytime I have popped into this cosy shop have ended up staying for a lot longer. Books are on shelves in categories. There are comfortable chairs to relax in and a few little rooms at back to read quietly. Also music and C.D.s available too. There are some systems in place for purchasing books and you could check with owner about books you may want to rehome. Cosy warm interior colours. If you like the southern highlands type vibe you should enjoy this store.

Birdsnest one of Australia's favouite online women's fashion stores and our one and only shopfront is in our beautiful hometown - Cooma. Visit our store and let our friendly 'shop birds' show you our collection from over 250+ brands, help you create amazing outfits and share their styling tips. I can't speak highly enough of the offering of stock and the helpfulness of the staff, trying to be as flexible as possible. I think they try to keep offering pieces that are affordable for most, not items at the very expensive end nor at the very cheap/won't last end. I really am not able to get out to shop often and for me this service is perfect with the longest return program offered. It's my saviour and thy listen to my suggestions to any changes such as a minor change on a web page. This is an online website with a couple of fairly remote locations, so some of the questions are not really relevant.

The Raglan Gallery is a local Art Gallery situated in Lambie Street in Cooma NSW. Lambie Street was the first surveyed street in Cooma in the 1840's and a number of beautiful historic homesteads can be found. The Raglan Gallery in its past has been a Hospital, Inn, Bank and Family Home and is now an Art Gallery and Cultural Centre hosting around 8 exhibitions per year. There is a gift shop which year round has a great selection of cards, prints, pottery & jewellery to name but a few. After your visit why not take a leisurely stroll along the rest of Lambie Street, there is a historic booklet available at the Gallery and the Cooma Visitors Centre.

We loved this place. Walked in to see two really friendly older blokes making mullet brooms by hand. They were really informative as they explained things whilst they worked. Old machines looked amazing. Bought a hand made outdoor broom that we saw being made - how cool is that! So great to see rare skills like this being used. You must visit when you’re in Tumut.
