Santiago is one of those metropolitan joys where the more you look, the more you find. Funky cafes and dance clubs dot Bellavista, Forest Park art collections range from pre-Columbian to contemporary, and architecture runs the gamut from the 16th-century San Francisco Church to mirrored office towers. Shop with the locals at Mall Panora¡mico and give your palate meals to remember with hearty Chilean fare.

In Samsara Henna we perform an ancient ancestral art that, in addition to beautifying has a ritual and protective meaning, is an essential part of culture, art and beauty in Arab countries of the East, Asia and Africa, thanks to migration and globalization it has expanded by all the world. Its shapes and symbols attract anyone's attention, and without a doubt it is a fascinating art. Live a magical and unique experience!

There’s a story behind every bottle and at *La Cava del Barrio* we are passionate about sharing them with wine lovers and aficionados. Located in the heart of Barrio Italia, Santiago’s bohemian shopping neighborhood, ours is a store devoted to showcasing the work of independent (or “boutique”) winemakers – the stuff you won’t find in a supermarket. So do drop by and experience the best in wines!
Christopher and his friendly associates run a cozy boutique wine shop on one of Santiago's hippest streets. This is a great place to stop for a lively chat and perhaps a taste break while out and about in Barrio Italia. For such a tiny shop, they offer an exceptional selection from small scale Chilean wineries, with many wines that are unavailable at larger chain stores or on supermarket shelves. Be aware that "boutique" here does not mean everything is priced for wealthy drinkers. There are fine bottles in the 8,000 - 12,000 peso range, including even rare varietals (in Chile anyway) like Albariño and Petit Sirah. I also love their tasting events, typically on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, when producers present and pour their wines in the sunny, comfortable mezzanine restaurant area. The only negative is a dispute with the restaurant downstairs about opening bottles bought at La Cava to accompany a meal. I hope by now they could settle on the corking fee or otherwise make a deal that benefits both businesses. La Cava del Barrio offers something for every taste and price point. Winos will certainly be intrigued by what they discover here!

Costanera Center opened its doors in June of 2012 in Providencia, one of Santiago’s most happening neighborhoods. With more than 197,000 square meters of floor area, it is Chile’s and Latin America’s largest mall and one of the most important on the continent. Thanks to its location, connection with the community and access to public transportation, it is easily accessible from many different parts of Santiago. Visitors love the more than 300 stores distributed throughout six thematically-organized floors including exclusive boutiques and the best international brands such as H&M, Banana Republic, Gap, Topman, Aristocrazy, Hugo Boss, Guess and Zara, among others. An exclusive benefits program called “On Tour Costanera Center” is available to foreign tourists. The discount bracelet opens the door to enticing offers at more than 100 stores. To register, go to the On Tour booth on the second floor of the mall, show your foreign passport or ID and enjoy the program s benefits. Costanera Center also has a wide variety of the best culinary options including a strip with different types of restaurants, a 2,000 person capacity food court, 12 Premium movie theaters and a supermarket, in addition to other services. And that is not all... Sky Costanera was recently opened on the upper floors of the tower. This highest observation deck in Latin America is 300 meters high and is the only one with a 360-degree view of Santiago. Sky Costanera is open every day of the year, except state holidays, and offers free guided visits in three languages. Costanera Center has undeniably become a Santiago icon and is a must-see for locals and tourists alike.
A great shopping center, really big with all types of stores and restaurants. I've liked to have spent sometime there.
