Indochine Natural

A factory retail outlet for our artisan made natural products including soap, shampoo, body wash, face wash, and face oil. The Indochine Natural story started in the 18th century. European traders flocked to the Straits of Malacca and Penang Island. They sought exotic treasures including cinnamon, clove, and ginger. These were used not just to flavor, but to heal. Today, we carry on this tradition. We use the natural, evocative fragrances of the historic spice route. Our Australian co-founder and Chief Formulator, Dr. Mike Thair, leads product development. He creates bespoke Indochine Natural aromas that are unique and distinctive. We use only natural ingredients. Not your usual slick retail outlet. You may see oils being delivered, orders being packed. Our artisans are in and out from the production facility. Chat with them and find out more about how we make our products. Take home a unique Made-in-Penang gift including soap, shampoo, body wash, or face oil.

Tanjung Bungah Market

It looks awful, it might put you off entering but please take the plunge. The food is served at a dozen or so different outlets...some savoury, some sweet, some just juices...fresh juices of every kind. Make your choice, place your order and it’ll be brought straight to you freshly cooked. The chicken satay was fabulous and the prawn & noodles was sublime...and all for between 8-15 Ringgits. We keep going back. I recommend it. Just across the road from Copthorne Orchid.
