The freshest of farm produce , fresh flowers and the freshly baked goodies , jams juices etc .ypu can also grab a satisfying non pretentious breakfast , / brunch and coffee . It opens at 8 am on sundays . The popular market is littered with very tempting goodies , sea food , eggs , choicest cheeses and the whole lot more of the charming goods .There is no entree fee . Due to COVID-19, The Foster art museum is temporarily closed to visitors until further notice. Typically, we are open daily from 12-4 pm. Admission is free. The Foster is dedicated to uniting, preserving, and exhibiting artist-explorer Tony Foster's powerful watercolor Journeys to inspire reflection, discussion, and education about art, wilderness, and the natural world. The Foster also serves as a community venue for art, wilderness, and educational programs and events. Appointments for guided tours should be made ahead of time by calling or emailing. Please also contact us if you are interested in hosting an event here.
The musuem is relatively new and is tucked away on a side street off Charleston with OSH and REI just steps away. This museum is called the Foster because it displays watercolors by Tony Foster. His beautiful journey series is on display, visit to see the paintings and learn about the way he creates his paintings. Some were done underwater. The paintings seem simple, but the detail he creates, and the texture that you see in his trees, leaves and rocks are amazing. His paintings are about his journeys and focus on the landscape. Watch the introduction video and be amazed with the size of his watercolor tin. We took a tour and were there for just under 2 hours. There are audio tours available, or you can arrange a tour for a group. There's some parking in back and street parking in front. If you have a large group, carpool because there isn't an abundance of parking.

Well...I LOVE Stanford Shopping Center! First off, it’s in Palo Alto and a perfect “warm up” or “cool down” to University Ave! Doing both...takes us most of the day. Stanford Shopping Center has 150 upscale Stores for your shopping pleasure, Shaub’s Meat Market, Sigonas Farmers Market, a nice selection of eateries from upscale to fast food...depending on your mood or budget, Water features, Fire features, plenty of seating areas with “charging poles” to plug in your depleted Phone batteries, and plants in bloom virtually all year round. Mall Security keeps a visual presence (at one point...a ROBOT MALL SECURITY Patrol Officer, kinda looked like an egg!) so you feel relatively secure and lots of parking. All in all, from a Shopping Center, “who could ask for anything more”...isn’t that a jingle?! From the Fashion OUTRAGEOUS to the Fashion SUBLIME it’s all here at the Stanford Shopping Center. In this Reviewer’s opinion...for it’s wonderful variety of Shops, it’s plethoras of Eateries, Presentation and Cleanliness, on this and many prior occasions, Stanford Shopping Center has truly earned this “highly recommend” 5 Point review!

This is a rather large shopping center that has all kinds of shops. There is a bookstore (Books, Inc.) that is great. There's an ice cream shop, a Trader Joes, Athleta, a toy store, a day spa, several restaurants, a bakery, Peets Coffee & Tea, a CVS pharmacy, etc.

Signora Farmer's Market is at Stanford Shopping Center. I iike to go there as they have high quality produce and fruit. They also have good cheese, ollive oils, nuts, and a lot more. I always find something unique to try such as some of their bean salads. Staff is nice.
