Home to nearly nine million and powering an economy that exceeds both Hong Kong's and Thailand's, Osaka packs quite a punch. The confident, stylish city is a shopping hub, with fabulous restaurants and nightlife. It's an ideal base for exploring the Kansai region; Kyoto's World Heritage Sites, Nara's temple and Koya-san's eerie graves are within 90 minutes by train. Top city attractions include the aquarium, Osaka Castle, Universal Studios Japan and the futuristic Floating Garden Observatory.

Namba Parks is a massive shopping and office complex with a stunning eight-level rooftop garden spanning several city blocks perched atop boutique shops, specialty stores, and restaurants.
Come to this park and have a chill time with all the deer. They are so friendly. Playing with them is a must. Buy some food and give to them. It is so lovely.

The entire complex station, including the redevelopment area of JR Osaka Station. Department stores''DAIMARU'',fashion buildings''LUCUA OSAKA'', cinema complex, the shops and restaurants.
If you get experience from Tokyo Station, this station is "fingers in the nose". Just leave your platform from JR Train to go to Metro platform. I suggest you to buy a day pass 900 yens per person. It includes metro, bus and some trams (not all. if you want to visit Sumiyoshi-Taisha Shrine, you need to pay extra ticket fee).

Lucua1100 is a large shopping mall that is centrally located at Umeda station. A good place to shop especially if you are taking the train out of Osaka for a day trip to nearby towns as you go through Umeda station. We teamed a half day trip to Kobe and a half day of shopping here and it was perfect.

Abeno Q's Mall offers a dizzying array of specialty boutiques that sell head-to-toe fashions. There's also a food court and grocery market.
This is a big shopping mall where you could spend hours doing your shopping and there are restaurants as well as a food court where the food court serves really good food. It is located right beside the well known skyscraper, Abeno Harukas. Highly recommended!

A shopping center directly connected to Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station. Inside there are about 250 shops that you can casually enjoy while shopping for fashion, buying sundries, hobby goods, and even purchase take-out food from the gourmet floor located in B2F that has the best lineup in all of Umeda!
On basement level two (BF2) there are over 100 small food shops all reasonably priced and many with English menus or some ability to understand my terribly limited Japanese. We had okonomiyaki one night and ramen with gyoza another. Delicious and an easy walk from accomodation
