Yamajou Kamaboko had established in 1878, 142 years long history kamaboko factory. We had earned "Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Prize" 5 times at All Japan Kamaboko Contest. Also, we had the honor to have a Japanese emperor house, Takamatsunomiya visited us in 1972. In 2015, our president, Junsei Uemura got certified Manifacturing Meister. We are stick with traditional Kamaboko crafting method, so we control the total crafting process from buying fishes to shipping at our factory in Odawara.

Japan Kanagawa Odawara West Side Since 1918 Founding Taisho 7th year "Gyo san handled quantity in Japan 1st" Odawara Matsushita shoe store. It is a pioneer shop of Gyo-san who introduced and sold Gyo-san on the mainland for the first time. It was featured in TV, newspaper, magazine etc and it is introduced as Odawara's new attraction now. We also sell rarity rare Gyo-san such as marble gyo san. Recently it was taken up as a media as a spot to instantiate.

Umeboshi "salt pickled plums" have hundreds of years of history in Odawara. The museum consists of a collection covering 150 years of umeboshi production. A large 600kg barrel formerly used to produce umeboshi is on display as well as registers and other objects dating from around 1900. A popular attraction is the umeboshi quiz requiring to answers by smelling and tasting umeboshi.
