The tourist info is located oppostite the chuch a short walk up from the Chateau car park. The staff are helpful and there are lots of information leaflets and maps. There is no charge to taste wine from a local producer and the tourist info has a wide selection of other wines for sale.

Le magasin de la Cave coopérative de Monbazillac est située à 5 kilomètres au sud de Bergerac et à 3 kilomètres du Château de Monbazillac. Toute l’année, nos cavistes vous font découvrir nos gammes de vins en bouteilles, conditionnements particuliers (magnums, coffrets…) ou fontaines à vin. We visited as part of a day with 'Bergerac Wine Tours' but this chocolate factory and museum is also open to the public. There is a short history and exhibit about chocolate production and then you can taste chocolate produced with different proportions of cocoa before visiting the shop.
