This compact Scottish city is perfect for exploration by foot — travelers can easily find their way from the lovely River Ness to historic Inverness Castle and St. Andrews Cathedral, and beyond to the events at Eden Court and the busy Victorian Market. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Highlands, with the mysterious Loch Ness (and famed local resident Nessie), Culloden Battlefield and the Bronze Age Clava Cairns just a quick drive away.

The complete Scottish wine merchant. International Wine Challenge Regional Merchant (Scotland) of the year 2016. We stock an extensive range of wines (from many organic/biodynamic producers, whiskies and craft gins from Scotland and elsewhere.
My Mum received the Gin Tasting as a Christmas gift and we both really enjoyed the whole experience. The other tasters were lovely folk and everyone had a lot of fun, there was so much laugher and chatter amongst everyone in between quaffing the amazing gin! Not only did we learn about the gin and how it is made, also the history and ingredients - so many amazing facts for gin lovers! Credit to Jamie and Jack ( - the best double act!) who are so passionate about their craft and just lovely lads. I will def be back for the next event :-)

The Workshop is home to a small family team designing and making clothing and accessories using Scottish fabrics such as Tartan and Harris Tweed. They also weave their own tweed on the premises using a 100 year old foot powered loom which you can see in action when visiting the premises. A hidden gem in the heart of the Highlands where you can buy authentic Scottish products.

Stained glass studio making unique works of art in glass since 1987 Lots of pieces in the studio ready to buy or you can commission something special Courses and classes are available for those who would like to learn this ancient craft
FIVE STARS! I had an INCREDIBLE experience at Half-A-Moon' one-day course and came away with the most beautiful stained glass piece created by me! Gail is just wonderful. She's not just an incredible artist, but an extraordinary teacher. She keeps her classes small, so she is always right there to give one-on-one when you need her. I was quite timid of the broken glass and heat. She helped me feel comfortable and safe. I'm absolutely going back... Next time with my husband... The time after that with a friend! Scotland's largest collection of old, rare and second-hand books and maps.
A treasure trove of Victorian and Edwardian era books, maps and prints. We spent an hour trawling through them.
