If you are looking for interesting, beautiful and quality products Crafty Praxis is a perfect shop to visit. There's a great variety of local crafts, ranging from jewellery & ceramics to greeting cards & artwork. The owner is lovely and helpful, (and makes fab jewellery). She also has a local artist who can make personalised pieces of art for you. You can find it in a lovely Victorian Arcade, (Byram Arcade, the last remaining example in Huddersfield). The restaurant Med One next to the arcade is also worth a stop if you're hungry, great food.

My first visit to Hinchcliffes since it re-opened. There’s a bright modern dining room off the farm shop. The hot beef roll remains a triumph and the cafe boasts good coffee from a local roaster. Topped off with excellent, warm, friendly and personal service from Zoe and her team, and this was an excellent venue for our business lunch to highlight the best of what is available locally.
Art & Framing at Huddersfields oldest independent gallery. Main dealers for Peter Brook RBA, visit the Peter Brook room, dedicated to the work of the iconic Pennine Landscape Painter. Always a wide selection of prints and originals from a variety of artists
