KIF & KATAST is located in an amazing old saw tooth factory with timber lined ceilings, the former site of a shoe factory. We feature a range of contemporary products including sculpture, homewares, jewellery, lasercut screens, furniture, lighting & flat packed garden beds. This breadth of product is underpinned by a cohesive aesthetic rather than a product type. The majority of our pieces are made by artists and smaller producers, both local and international. This being said, our primary focus is to present unique, well made products.

If you are a Harry Potter fan and you haven't been here, then you are not a true Harry Potter fan! Just Joking. I'm not one, but as soon as i stepped inside this place I was delightfully impressed. Almost everything Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast related stuff you can think of. Upstairs is even a cafe with suitably titled HP themed refreshments ad lounging area decorated like a Hogwarts common room. This is certainly a hidden gem of Melbourne, particularly in Smtih Street Collingwood on the Melbourne city fringe. Its at the Victoria Street end right next door to the Maccas which has an undercover free car-park for those so inclined. This is definitely a MUST see for any Harry Potter fan!
