Sunny Cancun has much more to offer than its party-town reputation might suggest. Plenty of gorgeous, drama-free family resorts cater to folks who want to experience the tropical Yucatan climate. There are significant Mayan ruins here, such as El Rey and the Yamil Lu’um, a crumbling tower of pale gray stone. Learn more about this ancient civilization at the Museo Maya de Cancun. For a literal taste of Mexico, take a tour of the Museo Sensorial del Tequila.

We have the largest collection of Mexican Amber in the area, a great selection of jewelry and sculptures made by the hands of mexican artists. In combination with a colorful and interesting collection of Mexican folk art. With 14 years of experience, we are the best choice in Cancun & Riviera Maya, visit any of our branches: Cancun: Plaza Caracol, Playa del Carmen: 5th Ave & Constituyentes, Occidental Xcaret Hotel, Akumal Bay Hotel.
Wonderful find in the Caracol Mall. Worth pushing thru the overbearing store owners for other Mexican souvenirs. Tere was wonderful in helping us understand what pieces were “hecho in Mexico”. She was patient and knowledgeable as we tried on many pieces. Muchas Gracias!

Tattooarte is the shop specializing in temporary Tattoos of Jagua and Henna, without needles or pain! Custom designs and catalog. We do not use Black Henna. We also make beautiful styles of Braids and Hairstyles. We have body jewelry for piercing.
My vacation would not be complete without my customary end of the trip henna tattoo! And as it has been every year for the last four years, I have never been disappointed! I’ve gotten many other henna tattoos throughout my childhood and I have had many experiences, some good and a lot of bad ones. So when I first came to Cancun, I was no stranger to this form of body art. But to my surprise, I encountered an experience in henna that I never had before. From the beginning everyone was very nice and the seller was super clear and good at answering any and all questions. When I asked if the henna was natural and what color it was (I was testing to see if they used the dangerous black henna), I was surprised that the ink they used was in fact Jagua! I have only encountered Jagua twice, once in Honolulu and another time with a friend who had bought one of those subscription boxes. I know that Jagua is natural and has no chemicals so I was more than happy to get a tattoo with them. After much debating I finally decided on a traditional mehendi and I sat down to start the process. Well imagine my surprise when the artist started doing my henna completely FREE HAND!!! I was so amazed! In all my years of getting henna I had only come across stencil and template users so seeing this person doll out this beautiful design (much more beautiful than the original) was bonkers to me! Anyway, my experience has always been a highlight of my yearly trips and if anyone is ever considering going to Cancun you should definitely check them out! -Greetings to all and I hope to see you next year!

La Isla is the best quality shopping to be found in Cancun. It’s actually several shopping hubs connected to each other across the street from hotel row, making it a wonderful perk for resort clients. It appears to be inspired by Venice, boasting bridges and canals and then sea, even pirate boats. In addition to hosting over a hundred shops to include many specialty stalls, souvenir stores, low to high-end fashion (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Louis Vuitton etc), Haagen-Dazs and many great restaurants, it houses an aquarium amusement park where you can even swim with dolphins. Lots of locals hang here along with the multitude of resort clients. If you want to shop in Cancun, this is the place. Check out Wayang for cool Mexican resort wear.
