This tour was incredibly enjoyable, fascinating, and educational. How often can you learn about something new, that you will remember every time you shop for Italian food, and have a beautiful and enjoyable day with interesting people. Our tour guide, Arianna, was smart, beautiful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The other people on the tour, from Norway, were just as much fun. We developed an appreciation for Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, prosciutto and balsamic vinegar, met some wonderful Italian people, saw beautiful countryside, tasted excellent wine and had a fantastic meal overlooking a valley at the end of the day. It may be the most memorable tour I have ever taken in years of travel. I recommend it most highly. It was actually in May, 2019, but that date was not one of the options I could chose in this review.

Alice and Elena team up to provide a Italian experience from your home. They are both extremely knowledgeable and fun! I have taken tours with Alice in Parma—highly recommend this when we can return again to Italy. This is the third cooking class I have taken via Instagram and now zoom. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Bikes were in excellent condition. You are given a MP3 player with commentaries on various locations around the city and a map that clips on the handlebar. A great way to get an orientation around Bologna.

Having previously visited Ravenna, I decided to take the walking tour this time to take advantage of the insights provided by a guide. The locations visited by this tour are top notch - worthy of 5 stars. And, we appreciated the insights provided by our guide, although, his English was a little difficult to understand. If you decide on a guided tour, I definitely recommend taking a small group as some of the sights are crowded and not as easily seen in larger groups.
