My husband and I had a two person wine tasting (given to me as a birthday gift) and we had an AMAZING experience! Because of the COVID situation, private tasting are be offered at the group price and so we had the entire place to ourselves. We tasted 5 wines, if I remember correctly, and were each given our own charcuterie plate to complement the wines. We learned so much about the history of wine in Hungary and the different regions. Highly recommend - was a very special experience.

If you are in Meissen, go for the Stadtkirche (central market place) and ask if you are allowed to climb the tower. Currently, the tower is under renovation so please ask in the Tourist office opposite of the Stadtkirche for the key. You've to pay 2 EUR and then you can climb up the tower. There are several levels to climb: 1st the stone steps, 2nd a wooden stair, then the higher you climb at last a tiny ladder but you'll be awarded with a fantastic look over Meissen. See it yourselves and report……. :-)

We had a very good moment with the sparkling tour. Especially during this morose times. Food was and drink were excellent. Our guide and butler was at his best, very polite and funny. The sightseeing tour was a refreshing moment. Our coachman was very discret and professional. And the hoses beautiful :). Luckily event the weather was on our side.
