We were let in on a little secret - if you go to Yelapa - a must stop is Marlins...after a beer, snack or dinner - you must ask for Shelly the pie lady. Pictured here. She makes and sells the most delicious pies I have ever had. For me the best - is the coconut pie. Itâs worth the trip alone!

4th visit to Fanny's. Look for the staff wearing the Fanny's t shirt as soon as you jump off the water taxi at the shoreline. Relax beachside on the loungers with umbrellas. Staff is kind and helpful. Food and drinks are good and very reasonably priced. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. I like Fanny's the best.If you remind your waiter when you you want to leave Yelapa. they will tell you when it is arriving at the pier. The water taxi drops you off at the shore but you walk to the pier (close by) for your return.Water taxi is the least expensive transportation. 90 pesos one way from Boca De Tomatlan. Several times during the day back and forth

This is one of several restaurants that line the beach at Yelapa. They all have chairs and tables setup right on the sand with umbrellas for shade. We decided to try Tinoâs. Our server, Hector, was friendly and spoke good English. Hector would use a walkie-talkie to place our orders with the kitchen so he could stay in contact with the customers on the beach. We ordered chips and salsa which was good sized. We also split the shrimp quesadillas (3 of them) which contained diced shrimp, cheese and a small amount of onion and celery and were served with coleslaw, rice and refried beans. Our entrees were good, but nothing extraordinary. They accept cash only.

We had the quac which was delicious and could feed 6 people! My girlfriend had the chili relleno which was superb and I had the tuna salad... Ah Ma Zing!!! The tuna was seared and bright pink outrageously delicious! The owner took over from her father who took over from her grandfather. She was so friendly, describing the dishes and making perfect recommendations. Don't miss out on this fantastic spot!

A unique experience where the river meets the ocean and simple meets extraordinary. Welcoming artists from around the world to perform and exhibit their work. Cafe, Bar, Casita rentals, a store with locally made goods, and fully equipped Pilates studio, w
After visiting the waterfalls we were thirsty and hungry our tour guide recommended Oasis and we were delighted. We were greeted with a smile and had our drinks and food fast. The food was tasty and priced right but we found the drinks overpriced for Mexico. The location on the beach was relaxing.

Spent a great afternoon having lunch on the beach. We had the seafood platter for four. We were five people and barely made it through half of the dish. Snapper, shrimp, lobster, everything. Just delicious.

For one of THE BEST dining experiences in Yelapa, Los Abuelos is a MUST! Their fish tacos and veggie burritos were the best Iâve ever had. The tacos come on fresh grilled blue corn tortillas....you can see them being grilled right near the dining area! The veggie burrito has flavors unlike anything Iâve ever enjoyed in the U.S. They are huge (plenty for 2 people to share!). They are accompanied by a very nice side salad, too. Their margaritas are excellent, the service is friendly and exceptional, and the view of the ocean is wonderful, too. To top it off, their prices are VERY affordable! We ate there twice during our stay and would have loved to have dined there even more often if it had been possible. Donât miss out on this culinary gem!

On of our favourite things about Yelapa was the excellent food. Ray's place is on of the shinning stars. Portions are not huge but they are creative and tasty. The drinks were also taste and well prepaired. I looked forward to eating here as the menu offers a lot of options, always something new to try.

Mike's Beach Club at Las Ãnimas. Restaurant and Beach Club. Mexican food, beach games, chill out area...
We landed here on a snorkeling tour. We were part of a work group who thought they were only going snorkeling only to find we were snorkeling, then going to an Adventure park for some climbing and zip-lining (next to Mike's), then a nice lunch at Mike's. It was buffet style for our group, which was good. But the best part? Were the home-made corn tortillas made right there and cooked on a hot pizza stone over a fire. Nice spot seemed only accessible by boat.
