I dined at Chez Jules for lunch and splurged on one of the house specialties Choucroute de la mer. Iâm not sure Iâve ever had something quite so divine. Accompanied by a lobster rémoulades, 5 different types of fish and shell fish were delicately mounded atop the sauerkraut which is a vastly different food that the sauerkraut found in the US. The service was as good as the food - definitely worth a repeat visit, but it will be hard to choose between what Iâve had and their pizzas. The two gentlemen across from me ordered pizzas that looked super tasty.

Restaurant traditionnel, cuisine locale, spécialité homards bleu et fruits de mer . Attention Animaux NON acceptés
This was so nice. We had the fish plate Royal, wow!Lotâs of other combinations possible. The sea food was fresh, the crab and lobster were hughe. Young and friendly staff, cosy interior.I recommend. The telephone didnât stop ringing. A bit annoying but that tells you how popular this restaurant is. Reservation highly recommended!

Restaurant La Plage has pretentions, and it meets these pretentions completely. the menu we had was excellent and the staff is very professional, both friendly and attentive. The food was really good and though we can't really compare with other places in Boulogne, because we only stayed one day, we think it deserves better than the 9th or 10th place is has on tripadvisor at the moment. The menu was 38 euro's but fully worth the price!!

Le Chatillon restaurant in the heart of Boulogneâs Capecure attracts everyone in town for the freshest of fish and great atmosphere. The bubbling ground floor dining room will remind you of the interior of an antique fishing vessel with wooden bar, pictur
Needing a very late breakfast/early lunch (11.15) I remembered the strange hours at this simply excellent fish restaurant. The tempting daily lunch menu was not due to start till midday but I soon found the Boulonnais Breakfast which looked just what was needed. Light baguette, butter, jam, perfect freshly squeezed orange juice & lovely coffee started breakfast, but it segued into a lovely light lunch with a plate of 4 local smoked fish - 2 kinds of herring, pepper mackerel, salmon - with warm potatoes & mustard dressing, slice of white toast, creme fraiche with chives, lemon wedge. If I had been earlier it would have concluded with a pastry - but they had run out so I finished with more coffee. A perfect solution to my problem and would definitely do it again. Sit inside for atmosphere, though the glass-case part is very clean and fresh.

We visited this little beach side restaurant on an unexpected beautiful June afternoon. We both had lovely crisp Salads with plenty of Salmon, tuna, mackerel and prawns. We were treated promptly, politely and made to feel very welcome. We werenât rushed in any way and were relieved not to be given a bill every time we ordered anything, as seems to happen at other restaurants in La Digue. After our lovely lunch we both had desserts, I had Speculoos Cream (scrumptious) and my Husband had chocolate ice cream. We had a couple of coffees and spent a good couple of hours there. From the outside this place doesnât look very inviting but itâs now our favourite place. The staff are friendly, polite and prompt. The food is great and reasonably priced and the loos are fabulously clean - whatâs not to like! Give them a try if youâre in Wimereux, Iâm sure youâll be pleased you did.

The only place we could find in Wimereux that would let us buy a coffee without having a sit-down meal with it. Also one of the few places that helped us with our attempts at French rather than stuffily switching to English. So a rare find! Good strong coffee with fast, straightforward service.

Excellent ambiance combined with friendly, helpful service without being effusive. . Menu probably suits fish lovers although others are well catered for. The coquilles st Jacques was outstanding and the Turbot absolutely wonderful. Could not fault the restaurant and will definitely return

My wife and I ate there on Saturday evening. As with all restaurants in Wimereux, you need to book. The set menu was good but a little short so I added oysters, which were huge, and the lobster risotto with squid ink. This was very good.My wife had scorpion fish. The brasserie menu is still cooked in a Michelin starred kitchen. The only negative was that we ordered a carafe of wine and they brought out an empty carafe and proceeded to decant from a 1.5l bottle at the table.Maybe we were âwine shamedâ for not ordering a bottle. The food and service were very good but the portions not that large.Great for â¬100 though in the seafront.

Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away
La Liégeoise definitely is a top restaurant (certainly the best in Wimereux) but in my view, it doesnât fully deserve a Michelin star. While everything was technically very good, especially the lobster dish and all desserts, some combinations were not a full success (e.g. the tomato concassé overpowering the sweetbread). Service could have been more attentive, too.
