The Harbour Garden Café is the only open air venue in Whitstable where every weekend from Easter to end October you can see & hear some of the best in live entertainment & music.Situated just 10 metres from the waters edge, we enjoy some of the best views
Great looking place in an excellent location and on a sunny day like the one we were blessed with a perfect place to stop - as did we!We had the intention to eat but found the menu both limited and a bit over priced so we just opted for drinks. Fantastic cocktail list and would return to get refreshed again!

Lovely sea views and friendly, helpful staff helped ensure that this lunch was spot on. We booked a great table with a sea view. There were two menus to choose from today: a special Fatherâs Day selection and the standard daily selection. We had exceptional fish dishes of Skate and Halibut and our daughter went for the spiced lamb burger. Each was delicious. Iâd happily return anytime.

Was so excited to be going to the Pearsonâs Arms for a birthday treat. Menu was sparse for a fish restaurant, very noisy not at all relaxing. Member of staff did tell us on booked arrival large party of 20 men, getting to end of meal, would be leaving soon. We had almost finished when they left! Food was ok but not exceptional, not good value for money. It is just a pub charging a fortune for average food.

Weâre proud that 3 generations of our family have been serving freshly cooked fish and chips to the residents and visitors of Whitstable since 1962. Viv and Joyce moved to Whitstable in 1962, bringing with them more generationsâ fish and chip expertise fr
I've been past this restaurant several times on previous visits to Whitstable but I've never actually stepped inside. I'm a great fish and chips enthusiast so I thought a visit here was longer overdue and I was eager to try this out establishment for once. First impressions were that is was very clean and well presented and I was very soon approached at my table by a friendly member of the staff who took my order of cod and chips. The chips themselves I found were nicely cooked ,I believe in beef dripping ,which for me added to the taste and the portion of fish was both soft and flaky with not a trace of grease, (which seems to be the usual in other restaurants.) in summary, I was very impressed with both the service and standard of the meal and would certainly recommend you try it for yourself. I will certainly pay a return visit when I'm again in Whitstable.

This appeared to be the only restaurant I could book for eight people which included a four year old! But it turned out that it could not have been a better venue for my birthday celebration. The restaurant looked lovely, the service was friendly but very efficient, the food was excellent and it could not have been more perfect for what I wanted

A beautiful little cafe in the heart of the Whitstable community. We offer a wide range of food, drinks and occasional evening events along with a mixture of different international special dishes of the day.
Just dropped in for some coffee.Sat down with my wife and friend.Waited for some time then left without being served. Went across the road to the Cafe & Kitchen, what a difference, greeted with a warm welcome & served quickly. We will definitely be back to the Cafe & Kitchen but never to Elliots.Afternoon,I am sad to hear your visit was cut short. We take great pride in our service and food here at elliotts, so I am disappointed to hear that you didn't get to experience our coffee/service/food.if you could email me directly at [email protected] we can discuss things further.I look forward to hearing from you.Kieran

On a recent visit to Whitstable we couldnât decide where to eat. Spotting some people eating fish & chips (that looked really good) we went on their recommendation of Ossies Fish Bar. Took our freshly cooked fish & chips to Whitstable seafront, found a bench to sit on & had the perfect fish supper on a sunny September evening. The fish & chips were perfectly cooked some of the best Iâve ever had. Huge portion (couldnât eat it all) It was only after weâd finished eating that I looked Ossieâs fish bar up on TripAdvisor and realised how consistently good they are.

We tried Ossies based on previous Tripadvisor reviews and came away very impressed. Some of the best fish and chips we've had for a long time. The cod was fresh and very tasty. The batter was not oily and was crisp. The chips were also not greasy but very tasty. The apple pie and custard was very good also. A very nice walk along the beach from the train station. We did a day trip from London.

A sea food restaurant overing a vast selection of sea food, from a al la carte menu to take away seafood. We are BYO drinks and we don't charge corkage.
Probably the best restaurant we have visited in a long while. We had oysters and the seafood mezzanine to begin, followed by lemon sole and the lobster lasagna. Being in Whitstable the seafood was extremely fresh, added to which the whole meal was deliciously presented and generous. It was Friday night and very busy, but the staff were still attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcome. My annoyance is that we live too far away to be regular visitors, but we will be back!
