Oh man, wow. The fish is incredible. Poke seemed kind of strange when I first heard about it but it's so delicious, and this food truck has some excellent poke. We also had marlin on tacos and man, it's so good. It's incredible. Great choice. Of course, all of the food trucks here have something great to offer.

Shrimp Trucks - Oahu North Shore There are a lot of shrimp trucks on the north shore between Haleiwa and Kahuku. We tried 3 different trucks. Each with different bests. Best for garlic lovers, Giovanniâs Aloha Shrimptruck in Kahuku - loaded with garlic. Spicy garlic was no good. Tasted like they just poured tabasco all over. Best for lemon pepper and spicy garlic and the freshest best tasting shrimp was a Fumiâs Shrimp Truck in Kahuku. The most buttery garlic shrimp was Jennyâs Shrimp Truck in Haleiwa. Overall best of the three was Fumiâs. Chris NomaSent from my iPhone
Fast casual Hawaiian style create your own poke bowls, sushi bowls, salads & more. Located inside the Scoop of Paradise Ice Cream Factory building. Next door to Paalaa Kai Bakery in Waialua, Hawaii on the North Shore of Oahu.
Whether you are a local or a visitor, you will be amazed by the quality and size of these unbelievably Ono poke bowls. Sushi rice at the bottom, shredded daikon, and the best crab salad I have had accompany your choice of poke. You get to choose two proteinsâI had limu poke and shoyu furikake salmonâbut I also loved the spicy shrimp (the owner was so nice he later brought me out a small portion of the shrimp just because I loved it so much). Then you get to choose vegetable sidesâso much to chose from and all fresh! Cucumber, namasu, cherry tomatoes, edamame, kimchee, ocean salad, avocado ($1 more). Because this place goes for broke, you then can add nori, furikake, or another choice. All of this deliciously fresh bowl for $13! Go with an appetite âcuz this bowl is so filling youâre not going have room for dinner later. I am a local who moved away and when I come back I seek out the new and the best. This little hidden g m is worth the drive! Got to go check it out-you will be so glad and eating a poke bowl wonât be the same again!

Bigger portion than a sit-down restaurant at a reasonable price. Taste was never compromised despite being a food truck. Service was much faster than the highly overrated Giovanniâs right next to it. One bit of warning: If you cannot handle an outdoor seating with flies, birds, and a rooster lurking around for bits of your food, I would not recommend this place (or any of the famous food trucks). My wife was in panic by the time the food came out, we had to drive to a nearby strip mall and eat in our car with windows rolled up and AC going. But, the tasty food made it all worthwhile.

Started off lunch with a delicious Bloody Mary. Thick tomato taste with a kick, just like I like it. The sandwich of the day was a fresh caught Ahi tuna salad melt on a toasted Taro bun. I split that with my sister and she ordered the Cajun fish sandwich in a soft taro bun. Both were absolutely delicious. The Cajun fish was just spicy enough and the soft taro bun had that sweet Hawaiian bread taste you know and love. No more pricy then anywhere else in town for lunch. We were hoping to get back one day for one of the Benedictâs for breakfast and another Bloody Mary, but werenât able to.

My wife and i stopped in for dinner after visiting the North Shore area. I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi and my wife had the Shrimp Cocktail and a bowl of clam chowder. When I saw the Shrimp Cocktail I had to take a picture of it. We highly recommend everything at the Haleiwa Beach House. It has atmosphere, location and excellent food. Need I say more!

Voted one of Oahu's best by Honolulu Star Advertiser 7 consecutive years, BANZAI Sushi Bar is truly one of Haleiwa's best kept secrets. Tucked away in a back corner of the North Shore Marketplace, casual fine dinning, outdoor covered seating with Japanese
Might be the best sushi or poke on the island of Oahu. If you are not into raw fish they also have other dishes. Seating is either Japanese style, cushions on the floor or at tables. The service was excellent. Nice drive to get there up the North Shore.

This place is fabulous! The choices are varied and everything we have eaten here is absolutely delicious. It is a small, casual space with a few tables and counter seating around the perimeter but it is definitely not 'fast food'......the chef prepares each dish with great care and even it takes a little longer to eat here.....it is worth every moment of the wait. From the fried okra to the biscuits and gravy....the jambalaya...the po boys.....each dish is treat. Can't wait to go back each time we leave!
