Are you in Vasto for holidays ? Well ... you cannot miss this experience. You walk just a little bit outside the historical centre and you'll find that "unusual" place. Why "unusual" ? Because it is strange ( in Italy ) to find a takeaway of fish only ... and we are not talking about a "Fish and Chips Takeaway" ! The place is small enough to have 3-4 tables if you wish to eat on the spot, otherwise you can take your choice home. The selection of dishes is impressive and fresh fish only. On one side you may choose among cooked dishes on display in a counter; on the right hand side instead there is another counter full of ice where is taken continuously fresh fish. In fact at our arrival ( 1.45 p.m. ) we were lucky enough to sit on a table just vacated by customers and we had to wait quite a while beause a lot of people queuing for their orders. Our selection was tasty and prices very reasonable. I dare suggest La Paranza to add a few more bottles of wine to choose from ... considering the area is full of wonderful wines ( such as Cococciola, Passerina, Pecorino, Trebbiano ).grazie per la sua bella recensione..staff La Paranza

Went there with some friends, some are very picky eaters, and all were blown away with the great fresh seafood, wonderful service and friendly atmosphere. They make you feel like you are part of the family. If you are looking for a fun evening with friends coupled with exceptional seafood and service, don't miss this place.

Small local, maximum 35/40 people, located in Vasto's old town just a few meters from the main square. The kitchen, exposed, mostly serving fish dishes, classic but casual setting.
Located just off the main square in Vasto is this lovely little restaurant. It is an absolute must!! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is extremely helpful. Average price in 2 about 40 euros (2 starters, 2 pasta, 1 dessert, 2 coffee and water).thank you for your amazing review. hope to see you soon. Yours faithfully Paolo and Nadia

We've been here a few times, and it's always great. This time, we had pizza with the local ventricina, and the chitarra pasta with a tasty ragu. The service was as friendly and helpful as ever. The waiter was very knowledgeable about all the wonderful local wines you can get in this part of Italy. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly but a couple could go for a romantic dinner. The lighting is nice and gentle too.

We enjoyed a beautiful lunch outside on the patio. You are so close to the water that you can hear the waves crashing. The food was beautifully presented and delicious as well. The wine selections were perfectly paired to the courses. The service was impeccable. Dear MoniqueHeller,Thank you for your review. We look forward to another opportunity to host you at our restaurant, and once again, thank you for your positive comments!Best Regards,

We visited Cibomatto with our two young kids (2 & 4 yrs) and we found the entire experience to be simply oustanding and truly memorable. Our waiter was extremely attentive and helpful with the kids. The chef talked us through the menu and his recommendations - this was probably the most memorable part of the night because it was a great experience to speak with him and have him involved in the meal.Just make sure your Italian is reasonable to take advantage of his attention. The antipasti were fantastic - a mixed plate of chilled / raw seafood & some of the best we have sampled. Presentation was beautiful. The house wine was very well priced and was also fantastic.I strongly recommend you pop in and try Cibomatto, we will be back. It's not the cheapest restaurant in Vasto, but we think it's worth what you pay.

This restaurant is just amazing. The service is friendly and professional. The food is prepared perfectly and nicely presented. The wine suggested was the perfect combination with our food and the raw fish appetizer was the best I never had in my life. Strongly recommended either for a romantic dinner or for a group. Be sure to have the desserts and to try their 52 (or was 42?) herbs liquor!

E' un ristorante di pesce sul "trabocco" aperto tutto l'anno. E' OBBLIGATORIA la prenotazione. It's a restaurant of fish on the "trabocco" opened the whole year. Riservation is REQUIRED.
A wonderfull candelight dinner in an original trabocchi. Its really worth while visiting the very friendly owner and his wife. They serve a nice 7 course seafood festival. It is not easy to find the trabocchi in the harbour, but finally being there you experience an incredible evening!! An evening you never forget!! Please make a reservation because there are only 3 tables im the small restaurant!
