Such wonderful food, perfectly cooked steak, fresh succulent sea bass, taken off the bone for you, home made bread, great presentation, and best of all was... Luciano! Luciano is the friendliest most welcoming host, he made our last day visiting very special. I hope he opens more restaurants! Highly recommend!!!

On the ground floor is a simple snackbar-type restaurant with a terrace. We went upstairs in search of more sophisticated food. Well, sophisticated it might not be, but good and tasty it was. Well-presented and with pleasant service.

Very good local tratoria, full of people so be sure to book achead if in the season. Be terrified by italians eating pizzas with the french fires there (yuck!) but there are way better meals than pizza patattina in that place. My recommendation is to take menu pescatore for 2 (90â¬). I am sure you can bring 6 people over and feed them well with it. The seafood is excellent and there is loads of it. Very much recommended.

We asked our hotel reception to recommend and book a table for us, a change of menu and location for a celebratory night out and they thought of Pazza Idea, Valledoria. Its a large and busy enough place but our reservation was lost on two waiters who struggled to find the table, even if it was right opposite the til.The first problem fixed we then waited about fifteen minutes before our drinks order was taken. Giovanni was covering at the front of the restaurant and was the only bi-lingual waiter working at the time of our booking.Professional and very engaging, he took our order and passed the details to a colleague who then oversaw an excellent meal.My wife said her Ravioli was the best she had ever had, my pizza was great too. The gelato that followed was fantastic.A memorable evening, the restaurant easy to find ( right hand side past the petrol station ) full of atmosphere and families enjoying a mid week night out.

I enjoyed the dinner: food, service and settings were all very good. I had Spaghetti con Vongole e Bottarga, Red Fish in the oven with tomato, olives and tomatoes and a Pistacchio desert. Above all the service was good throughout all evening. Will visit again.

Food tastes fine - nothing spectacular - and very expensive for what you get - we were only visiting for the afternoon so didnât have the opportunity to try another place to provide a comparison .... it might be how it is locally? .... must say service is particularly poor though it does seem very popular with locals .... finally do triple check your bill before paying - we were overcharged by quite a bit .... Thankfully there was no problem getting the bill adjusted .... will not be returning any time soon
