A really great place to eat. An extensive menu with such excellent service from very friendly, but efficient, staff. Fish is almost a must with it cooked before your eyes on an open fire pit. The food is superb and the wine, although quite pricey, is good value. I strongly recommend this exceptional restaurant.

First and only FINE DINE restaurant in Trogir. Discreet, homely and quite original - these adjectives can be used to describe both the family restaurant âDon Dinoâ in general as well as their food. This restaurant, located on the corner next to the church
This was our most expensive dinner in Trogir & am not sure it was worth the extra Kunas. The food was very good and the service was probably the best we experienced during our week in Trogir but we had better food at slightly lower prices at other restaurants.

This was recommended to us by the owner of our AIRB&B. Reservations are highly recommended. It is well worth the effort. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. We had the Octopus, Panko with chick pea purée over greens. Also, the Tuna with black lentils, potatoes are a burrata, beet, walnut salad as a starter. The wine was white Croatian recommended by the waiter which paired beautifully with our dinner. Donât leave too quickly, they will serve you a complimentary house made Grappa or Cherry Liquor, which will cap off your delightful meal..

Both opted for a pasta dishes which were under the âappetiserâ section of the menu. These were both huge and more than enough for a main meal! We also tried the bread infused with garlic which was amazing!! The meal was reasonably priced but mainly because our dishes were appetisers..Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for seafood dishes or anyone whoâs keen on fresh bread (who isnât!)

Having been unable to get in on our first attempt, we reserved and returned the following evening. Following a shared cheese plate starter, we both chose grilled sea bream. The usual de-boning session was required, but then we really enjoyed the tasty fish. The service was pleasant, as was the location in a spacious courtyard off the street between buildings.

Restaurant Vanjaka is a respectable member of the Trogir gastronomic family. It is situated on the Radovan Square, in the east part of the town, right by the Saint Lawrence cathedral. Classy, sacral and aristocratic architectural surroundings have set the
Listed as vegetarian / vegan friendly. I'm afraid it is not. On a positive note, my grilled bream was very good, as was my fig dessert with pannacotta. One of my two vegetarian companions had the risotto, this was ok. The other vegetarian generally avoids the usual boring pasta / risotto / pizza margarita routine, and finds most places can do grilled vegetables well - not a lot to ask, but this place failed - a bland, meagre sub-starter portion was provided, her accompanying salad was ok.The service was a bit too casual - late afternoon, the place was quiet.I see the restaurant responded to previous similar criticism by saying only 5 of their 50 dishes are meat - I checked - this is not true, even if you exclude the fish and seafood; and vegetarians don't eat fish / seafood. So, not at all a good destination for vegetarians, but probably pretty good otherwise.

Recommended by a passer traveler we sought out this little restaurant in a side street. Clearly a popular place even for locals as they patiently waited for a table. The food is well priced and delicious and the owner and staff are amazing and friendly. Defiantly a must eat at place as you divulge in their delicious home made and baked pastas.
