Restaurant Raffaele overlooking the Amalfi Coast, offering classical and Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of creativity, not less, traditional specialties.!! Open all year round, during the low season from November to March, we will be mainly offering m
As you enter the courtyard of the hotel you are met with a calming atmosphere filled with beautiful flowers. The small restaurant is situated on the terrace with a lovely view. The food is traditional Italian and very flavoursome. There is a varied menu with pizza, pasta and also meat and fish dishes all presented beautifully. The service is excellent and we will certainly return.Dear guest, Thank you very much for your positive feedback. In order to avoid misunderstanding for future guest, we would like to acknowledge that you probably have hadpizza as "amuse-bouche" while waiting for you starter since, we do not have pizza on our à la carte menu.We do hope to have a future chance to welcome you back again!!We wish you a lovely day with very best regards.Antonio and family

Whilst an amazing review, watch out fore the "bait and switch". They ask if you would like to chose 3 starters to share and then they bombard you with 7 starters that we couldn't eat but obviously were charged for. Main courses were then surplus to requirements....which wasn't a real problem as the seabass was over cooked and tasteless. Shame really as the view is superb.Dear Jules P,thanks for choosing our restaurant and for the feedback.First of all, I want to apologize as we did not meet your expectations.Even thought I understand that our recommendations did not work, I believe this is the first review ever that talks about "bait and switch".... and I don't think it's fair.I'm sorry we were not informed about your disappointment when you were at the restaurant, we could have found a solution to make you more pleased.Warm regards,Ivano Proto.

The restaurant L'Antica Cartiera is located in the middle of the Amalfi Coast, in the stretch of coastal road that connects the fishing village of Minori to the old Republic of Amalfi. Few know that this stretch of coast is part of the municipality of Rav

All the other reviews highlighting exceptional quality, service, value and graciousness are spot on. The location is great, just up from Vietri Su Mar with a parking lot across the street and near the Autostrada. Enzo, who is one of the owners, suggested a perfect lunch menu for us along with a wine pairing, all for around 60 euros. He even had everything plated separately so we could share each dish. This was by far one of the best meals we have ever had in our four trips to Italy, and definitely the culinary highlight of this trip. If you go, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

Local cuisine revisited. Pasta with anchovy sauce, gnocchi with clams, fish, cod, beef, homemade desserts, vast selection of local and national wines.
My husband and I came to Ravello very last minute and utilized Trip Advisor to find a restaurant near the city center and far enough away from touristy spots. We decided on Locanda Moresca, and man were we glad that we did. This restaurant is an Italian classic heavenly food experience. Gnocchi is my favorite dish on the planet. While the food in Ravello is unparalleled, the only worthy gnocchi dish I found was at Locanda Moresca. However, let's pause. The fried cypress was one of the best dishes that I had ever tasted. I am not even a big fan of cheese. It typically hurts my stomach, but when in Ravello, right? The buffalo mozzarella is so fresh that it did not hurt my stomach in the slightest. The wine selection was perfectly paired with our food. We fortunately went a little early, because the restaurant was packed by the time that we left. It have a very charming outdoor area lined with patio lights and a cozy interior. Everyone on the staff was lovely. They were very excited to practice their English skills and were extremely hospitable. I highly suggest to have a meal at Locanda Moresca while you are in Ravello. You will not be disappointed.

Since 1955, a tasty history Inside the narrow streets, through the Moorish streets and all the little squares near the sea, Minor collects the scents and flavors of it are cooking traditions. Here, let us not forget, was produced handmade pasta, which bec
Stopped in during our week-long stay in Minori after reading all the great reviews. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating. Service was generally inattentive (even by Italian waiter standards). Food was good, but not any better than other local restaurants and pricier. We didn't go back.Dear jkp99b,thanks a lot for choosing our restaurant!I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations although we always do our best.Hopefully you'll give us one more chance in the future, grazie,Antonio & Giovanni Di Bianco.

I have eaten here several times recently as it is very close to Amalfi and is reputed to offer the best pizza in the area. Well I think that the reputation is well deserved as the pizza is really exceptional, tasty and light. The beer is also good and the value amazing as we paid only 13 Euro per head. Well worth a visit.

Our driver found this restaurant for us on Christmas Day. He's personal friends with the owner. Tramonti is a village in the mountains of the Amalfi coast - it's not normally one of the villages visited when you are doing an Amalfi coast tour. This small restaurant offers gourmet dining in what is otherwise a small village. Our Christmas meal was spectacular - it's difficult to remember when we had a better meal or more friendly service. If you are in the area, I strongly recommend eating here. I know it's out of the way, but when we return to Sorrento, it's on our list of places to go back. It's best if you visit as part of a longer Amalfi coast tour as this restaurant is not too near any of the major towns that are part of the tour.

Caprese- the tomatoes where not tasty at all, and even had no colour! Chefs antipasti choice with salmon (and this in italy, we are not in norway). Overpriced and highly unrecommended

We dropped in here for a drink as the restaurant we were going to didnât open until 8.30. What a stroke of luck! We ordered two glasses of wine (very reasonably priced) and quite unexpectedly three little dishes arrived to accompany them - a bowl of tuna and salad, anchovy bruschetta and spaghetti colatura. Times two! The young staff were absolutely delightful. Needless to say, we didnât venture any further as we had no need for a meal. Thoroughly recommend this little place. You wonât be disappointed.
