After sailing for 5 days this is heaven. Staff at the marina are great. Food court is wonderful. Some services on location but small Chancellery. Larger one is away. Bus to Darwin once a hour average and bus stop is close.

Setting of this Restaurant is amazing. Service was fantastic and all staff very friendly. Food was lovely, but wouldn't say fantastic. Felt that the Seafood platters could have been better presented as the platter was quite sparse. Option to choose Grilled or Battered was nice, but dont think you should have to pay more for grilled. Definitely worth a visit, but have had better. Location is the winner for this one.

While in the area we drove out onto the wharf, parked and went for a walk to the end. There are a number of restaurants and shops at the end of the wharf where you can buy almost any sort of food from seafood, fish and chips, Indian, Thai, icecreams, cool drinks etc etc. Alongside the shops is an area outside where you can sit enjoying the view of the Harbour while protected from the sun by umbrellas. Personally we had an excellent milk shake which was very welcome on a hot day.Well worth a visit.

After a day trip to the Tiwi Islands this was the perfect fish and chip shop to enjoy oysters, fish and chips and a sundowner glass of wine.

I donât write negative experiences but........if I could give this place a zero I would. Was so excited to come. Got here at 8:45pm got told the kitchen is closed, but they donât close until 10pm. They convinced us to stay. We got a seat , Got some food but then was turned off by no service and staff cleaning up around us. Food was cold and no variety left. Decided to leave after the chef came out to take the best of the food left and put it in a take away container. We had a very animated discussion about service standards and food quality with the manager. Which they said, you had a choice? And did not apologise for there poor service Still charged us $43 a head ,. Left at 9:20pm. What a horrible place. Never ever go here. Go to the Jetty for great service and a better experience. Thank you for your feedback. Actually we did give you and your friend discount ( we did not charge full price) The website shows that is our restaurant closing time but buffet normally closes before that due to packing and cleaning ( Same as any buffet restaurants in Darwin) and we did apologize last night there may have some misunderstanding between you two and our staff as we thought you and your friend were happy with the food after you checked the buffet. We do apologize again about any inconvenience last night. Wish you have a lovely day.

We tried a dozen and a half of oysters and they all tasted good. Presentation was ok, but overall $90 for 18 oysters and 2 cocktails ordered and paid for at the bar is expensive. Hi PeteC166a, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on your previous visit with us at Oyster Bar Darwin. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your oysters but are however disappointed that you did not find our pricing competitive. Your feedback has been passed on to our management team.

We stumbled across this location whilst exploring the waterfront around Darwin. Itâs a great location on any afternoon. We went on two occasions for lunch! The food is very well presented and tastes great. And food and drinks are very very reasonable prices if you sign in to the yacht club membership book! Easy! A Darwin gem!

We went here on our first night in Darwin after reading the great reviews about the fish and chips and mud crabs. The restaurant has changed location (just a little further down the road). It is now in the Dinah Beach Yacht Club which is busy and seems to be a local hangout.Unfortunately many items from the menu were not available - no chowder, mudcrab, some of the different types of fish. Obviously it is seasonal and dependent on what's available but it was a bit sad as I had told the rest of my seafood loving family that there was a good range of seafood. In the end we had fish and chips all round but it was a 45 minute wait! That being said, the fish and chips were fantastic and even came with a small salad and a great portion of sauce. I guess my suggestion for visitors would be to call ahead and confirm if you are wanting something in particular.

We booked here for dinner with friends - booking essential as very busy. A very noisy restaurant with concrete floors and nothing to absorb the sound. Found that we had to shout across the table to be heard - not a nice way to have dinner. An interesting by limited menu, designed to be shared. We had saganaki, mackerel, calamari, pork, cauliflower, fries and affogato for dessert. Some interesting flavour. Not my favourite meal in Darwin but worth trying.
