Really enjoyed our meal here last night. The homemade pasta was really tasty...I had âBigoiâ pasta with sardines and my husband had ravioli filled with whitefish from the lake. For dessert he had apple strudel and I had chocolate salami (a bit different!)....once again delicious. Staff were attentive. Sat outside and enjoyed the street atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This is a small restaurant in a back street in Riva that does authentic Italian cooking.Very reasonably priced. Maria and her husband ( chef) make you so welocome. It is a positive gem of an eatery.

The restaurant was full.....we took the last 2 seats available. We had to wait a while to be served but the atmosphere/ people watching made the wait ok. The waitresses were working flat out to accommodate everyoneâs needs. Very friendly Our food was delicious....Tomato and Mozzarella to share followed by Seafood Pasta and Spinach Dumplings with aGorgonzola Sauce. The house red wine was very nice too. Both meals were delicious and we definitely would return.

Out of town a little but great food,service and inexpensive. Could only find one waiter with a little english but we got by fine - bring a phrase book along or learn some Italian. I had a great meal and the staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we only made the trip on our last evening but I will be back the next time I'm in Riva. For me our best meal in Riva.

Wonderful atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Family ran restuarant.We first visited when our hotel booked us a table, we had tabel number one, which was a perfect spot inside the restuarant.We fancied something simple after a week of fine dining, so went for the scallops and lobster gratin followed by lasagne. We asked for a local red wine, which was wonderful.We enjoyed it so much we went back two days later.Thoroughly recommend a visit for great home made italian food.Dear guest,we can't thank you enough for this amazing evaluation and for choosing Ristorante Pizzeria Leon D'Oro.We are glad that you have enjoyed every italian food, receiving such review confirms that we are working hard and good.We can't wait to see you soon, best regards from all the staff.

An upscale restaurant with sane prices of great Italian food. The atmosphere is cosy, warm and not stuffy. Selection of creative and more traditional dishes. Service was attentive and professional and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a very good dinner!

After reading the reviews and catering for coeliacs we booked the restaurant up, interesting but Cosy decor inside with welcoming staff. The pumpkin soup taster was a great start and the food that followed was nothing short of superb. The prawn starter and beef carpaccio were refreshing and light.We both had the tuna for main which was cooked to perfection, dessert followed with homemade tiramisu and one of the most creative fruit sorbet I've ever seen.Great wine selection aswell. Highly recommended

Really superb food was served to our group for dinner, from the gazpacho appetiser to the flavour-filled risotto entree, followed by the quail main course, finished with a chocolate mousse, all food was cooked to perfection and magnificently presented. When I was in Riva La Garda this week I looked up TripAdvisor for a restaurant and booked this restaurant. Wonderful, an enjoyable meal and a good and friendly service too. Also nicely decorated and good value for money. The meat I had was just perfectly prepared. One word of complaint tough, please invest in a good air conditioning. This friendly restaurant and bar is tucked away in a side street of central Riva De Garda. We dined there as a family of four and had a great meal. My daughters shared a Pizza (â¬15), as we were advised that sharing is the way to best enjoy the thick and rich base. I am an avid pizza baker and found the dough (risen over 48-72h) to be very tasty and special. I had the truffle risotto (â¬14) and my wife chose the salmon (â¬15). All dishes tasted incredibly good and cooked to perfection. My wife and i also tried local white wines by the glass, which were wonderful. There is also a range of very interesting local artisan beers available, which are worth a try. All four of us also shared a tasty meat/cheese platter and 2 great Tiramisu. The overall bill came to â¬91, which is about â¬10-15 above average for a family-of-four meal in Riva. But in my view it is absolutely worth the additional money. Service was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Locals stopped by for a drink and it was great to see community appeal of this place.
