A friend of ours who is a Tel Aviv native brought us here for dinner last night. Dinners include fresh bread and 7-8 small appetizer dishes - only restaurant we went to in 10 days where this many dishes were included, and they were really good - tabbouleh, a fish dish, terrific tahini, beets, and a few other sides. Between 3 of us we did not finish them. For our main course we had grilled trout, seasoned lightly; salmon in a cream and almond sauce; and sea bream (a mild fish we were not familiar with but ate 3 times in Israel). Our dishes came with a family style side of potatoes. For dessert the 3 of us shared our host's favorite dessert, Bavarian chocolate cake.Wine and beer were fine. We ate outside; indoor dining is available too. After dinner it was a 5 minute walk to the Tel Aviv pier. There is a parking lot nearby.

Very well located at the beginning (or the end if you take it from Neve Tzedek) of Rotschild Blvd, just off the intersection of different streets, forming an interesting and lively square. The restaurant is rather dark and has as central attraction the table bar next to the open kitchen. I didn't find that particular cosy, but interesting to see the chefs doing their thing. The menu offers sufficient variety of interesting dishes, with original twists and taste combinations. We had the white endives and blue cheese salad (delicious and very well balanced in tastes), the anchovy focaccia (OK, but a bit dry), the white fish tartar with mango leaves (delicious!), the gnocchi (very nice and right taste combination) and the fettuccine with crab (simply excellent!).The staff is very efficient, friendly and pro-active. Hadar, our waitress, did an excellent job and took time to explain several dishes and options. The price is mid-range and is acceptable for the good quality of finely prepared food.Highly recommended food experience.

"Fatush" sea fish, sumac and pita.
The problem when somewhere becomes very popular is if the service becomes arrogant. My wife really enjoyed her meal whereas I felt the menu didn't grab me. I get why it's a place to eat and be seen but just not for me.

This busy, buzzing restaurant has views of tempting food stalls and happy people. The serving staff were very friendly introducing themselves by name and assuring you of their best attention. My dish of tuna carpaccio was absolutely delicious and my daughterâs seafood pasta almost overflowing the plate with all cooked to tender perfection. A tempting chocolate pudding was gorgeous although its presentation lacked embellishment. The Kitchen Market is well worth the lengthier travel to the north of Tel Aviv.
