This breezy beach side restaurant offers local fare with an emphasis on fresh seafood, but it's best known for it's pina coladas. Visit the Rhum Shack for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We're sure you'll find something you like from shrimp ceviche and snappe
All meals at Rhum Shack were very good. My favorite was the Belize Breakfast. Fryjacks were perfectly prepared. Scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the beans were delicious. But the true star at Rhum Shack is Mariano. He was awesome. Great recommendations, conversations, and he followed up on all our needs and concerns at the Resort. You have to visit Rhum Shack for his great conversations and their good meals.

Laru Beyaâs Placencia Belize restaurant and bar serves delicious meals and friendly service on a three-story wooden deck in an open air setting with splendid views of the infinity pool and Caribbean Sea. Staples of the Quarterdeck Restaurant include fresh
We went to this hotel for dinner one night and we enjoyed the food, presentation and service. The ambient was nice and relaxed. Pool in front and a nice backyard of trees and flowers on the side. Tables and chairs were comfortable and they had 3 levels above ground, which made it romantic and interesting. Not ideal for younger active kids, but staff of the restaurant was very accommodating and understanding. The way we were treated made a big difference! It was a big plus. The place is expensive but the food tasted wonderful and was well presented. The lobster tail I had came in a nice glass cup. The picture is in my instagram danuza.aquino if you want to see it. It made me very happy! I also like the manager of grounds. He took time to greed us and explain the plants plus show us around. It was a nice experience altogether. I heard people say great things about the hotel in general but we were there just for dinner.

Watch your food being cooked on a 700F lava stone directly at your table. Stunning beach scene
This is more a warning of eating seafood in summer months rather than a review of this lovely restaurant. We enjoyed our table looking out on the water and were intrigued by eating food cooked on 700 degree lava rocks. My fiancé ordered snapper and I ordered snapper and shrimp. It was delicious and our server was delightful. However, 3 hours later I was sick as was my fiancé a couple hours later. I quickly looked up seafood poisoning and learned that the toxins are normally carried in shellfish and can be also carried in fish that eat shellfish. (He only tried one of my shrimp). A restaurant has no way of knowing if a fish or shellfish is carrying the toxin and heat will not kill it. This happened to me in Key Largo 32 years ago in May when I ate shrimp. Be advised to stay away from seafood in the months without an ârâ. So PLEASE TRY THIS RESTAURANT BUT BE CAREFUL WHEN EATING SEAFOOD FROM MAY THRU AUGUST.

Chef Rob changes his menu on a daily base inspired by the freshest products delivered to us by the ocean and the land. You can have your meals prepared in the kitchen, or cooked directly at your table on a 700F hot Rock, the 'Love on the Rocks' concept. E
This is the place to go for fresh lobsters in Hopkins. Chef Rob is real gourmet chef, knows how to make the meal memorable. Both preparations of lobster were sublime, service friendly. Certainly, DO NOT FORGET to order seafood cappuccino. This is actually a soup! Inventive. All in all, the best dinner in Hopkins, and it doesn't come cheap, by Hopkins standards. Gotta do it once, though.

Lucky Lobster is a fun, open air beach bar serving great drinks and delicious food. We feature fresh locally inspired caribbean bar food with options to satisfy all appetites. Our establishment is kid friendly and has a great kid's menu too. We look forwa
Lovely restaurant and staff. Food is superb and staff is super accommodating with dietary needs and even a great kids menu. As the name implies, this IS THE place for lobster in Hopkins. Special Lobster Season menu and dishes are divine. The simply grilled tail is perfect, but you can't beat sharing the lobster mac 'n cheese. My son enjoyed the Gluten Free Crispy Chicken Chicklets and got a fun kids toy and "tattoo". Highly recommend.

We had lunch here and the food and service was excellent. The jerk chicken was very tasty and very spicy. Richard was a great server and we really enjoyed getting to know him. Would highly recommend this place.

Beach restaurant and bar, in the center of Hopkins, where you can enjoy a great view of the Caribbean, tasteful meals prepared with fresh ingredients, and the best drinks in town!
We loved the Husk! We stayed at Coconut Row so we wanted to try other places in town but most nights we agreed that the food here was better than other places in town. So yummy-the husk toast for breakfast is unique, the curry dishes for dinner are really good, and the lunch special is always something yummy!

We're certainly far from perfect, but we do try our best to create a winning experience for every single customer, whether they are hotel guests, Belizean neighbors or travelers staying at other hotels. Try pairing small plates with wines, choose from our
We ate at Maya Bistro last night and it was a really lovely experience. Definitely more expensive than our lunch at a local food tent but so worth it. The combination of flavors was spot on and we got to sit right next to the beach with a strong breeze to keep us cool.We shared two appetizers and that was plenty of food. Then we finished our meal with a divine peanut butter brittle ice cream cake (the brittle was perfect, not too crunchy). There were a couple of cute strays that were begging at tables. My kid was entranced âºï¸My only peeve was that the vodka I drank left me with a debilitating hangover the next morning (one drink only). It was supposed to be Titoâs but may have been one of the cheaper local brands Our check came to $72BZD for two ($36USD)

I enjoyed every single meal at the Hamanasi Restaurant. Breakfast always hit the spot. I recommend refried beans with eggs -- the coconut oil used in the beans gives it a unique flavor. Lunch can be either be a light salad or something more substantial. I particularly liked the Caribbean rice and beans with chicken stew, though the fish tacos were not far behind. And the only issue I ever had with the three-course dinner was that sometimes I was almost too full for dessert. The catch of the day is always delicious but so are all the other choices.Plus the service -- everyone there is friendly, accommodating, cheerful, and skilled. From the cooks to the servers, it's a happy place.

The Barracuda brings together fine dining with a casual, seafront atmosphere. We have the most extensive brunch menu in Belize, including a daily breakfast buffet. In the evening, choose from our selections of fine seafood, steaks, and pasta. We also have
This place was the perfect combo of setting (on the beach with a view of the dock), excellent service (thank you Milky and crew!) and fantastic food (plaintain encrusted snapper and pork chop). We had a fabulous time and would go again tonight if we werenât leaving. Will definitely recommend this place to any friends coming to Hopkins. Thanks so much for taking the time to write the team. They work hard and this means a lot. I'll be sure to share it with them!
