Sergiani's has a beautiful setting on the Beach Road nicely decorated in traditional Greek Blue and WhiteThe service was good and there ae plenty of choices on the menu of traditional Greek and Cretan cuisine as well as Mediterranean and fish dishes. My wife had the beef liver and onions and I had Sardines both were delicious and had ample portions. At the end of the meal the manager came over and had a chat wand presented us with a small bottle of ouzo which was a nice touchThere is also a quirky map with flags where you can show where you come from

We shared a mixed grill here it was large. Really nice. We spent most days at the beach outside this taverna. The lunches were great the salads were large and amazing. Cocktails fantastic. The staff were brilliant and service very fast. And also the beach staff very friendly and they really looked after us. Too marks for the service. And food.

Romantic indeed! This place at the quiet end of Stalis is always busy for good reason. The staff are friendly and welcoming, remembering you afterwards as you pass by, but not pushy at all. The food is incredible. If you book in advance, as we did for our second visit, you can sit right on the edge of the cliff. The sea is below you and stretches away towards the twinkling town. The ambience is great. You can feast the night away on fresh fish or local dishes cooked to perfection. We can recommend the fish platter for two. It's huge, basically everything on the menu, including whole sea bass, whole sea bream, giant king prawns, swordfish steak, calamari (2 of everything) you name it. A pile of wonderful rice (wish I had the recipe for that lemony flavour) and salad went with it. It only cost around E25 for two of us. Couldn't believe it. After that we opted for baklava, thinking it would be small as we'd experienced in the UK. Nope. huge again, a brick of pastry nuts and honey with a ball of ice cream perched on top and cream on top of that. Truly amazing. We had that on both visits, naturally. Then, when you think the meal is over they bring up tiny pots of yoghurt with a delicious crumbly topping and a shot of raki or whatever you like to finish, so you don't really need a pudding at all. We had to stroll in the moonlight for a long time after our feasts. Book a table with someone special and enjoy!

Beach front Location overlooking the sea, you can sit inside or outside, a family run taverna open since 1991, friendly and efficient service with a menu to suit all tastes, including vegetarian menu.
Great restaurant, lovely food, very reasonable prices good selection and huge portions. Very friendly staff especially the Dutch girl our waitress, sorry didn't get your name and also Mario on the front door. We went here twice, don't normally go back to the same restaurant as we like to eat somewhere different every day but this was so good we went back again.

We took two loungers and a parasol on the beach just behind this restaurant for only E5. The added advantage was that there are four big palm trees just behind, adding natural shade from the fierce Cretan sun for those that want it. There is also a changing cabin and several showers to use which made it perfect for a beach day, and you can use the wc in the restaurant. So when it came to lunchtime, we left our things on the loungers and hopped up the step into the restaurant. We sat there on the edge, watching the sea to chilled music and ordered a simple lunch. Their Greek salads are simple but deliciious. The fresh orange juice was the best we found. We returned there on our last day too, chilling out before our flight home, and ordered main meals of stifado. There must have been half a pound of tender meat each cubed into the delicious sauce with our fries. Food to die for and so convenient. Enjoy

Our Family Restaurant Creta was Established in 1994 serving Traditional Greek, Cretan & International Home Cooked Specialities. Right by the Sea overlooking the bays of Stalis, Malia and Sissy in a Relaxed Lovely Atmosphere. Also a brand new Menu with man
Our second visit to the Creta to see Martha and her staff who are all excellent. The restaurant is a little hidden you have to keep a look out for the sign. It is on the beach side of the strip less than 30 seconds walk down a path. Everything is excellent, the welcome, the atmosphere, the food, the table settings etc. We had fish, pork, chicken and mousakka, all excellent. The wine was really good and the few gratuities to finish were a nice welcome touch. Keep an eye out for the Creta and give it a try itâs a gem.

Traditional Greek Tavern/Resturant
We came to Kelariko based on the great reviews we read and were not disappointed. We shared the meatballs in tomato sauce with pita bread to start which was superb and then had moussaka and the veal giouvetsi for mains. The giouvetsi was outstanding and I would highly recommend it! We were then served complimentary fruits and panda cotta with some shots of raki to finish.
